Do you use Yelp, if you had fund through Yelp an excellent hairdresser, Yelp once more and more again?
I believe, I can stop my questions, because everybody is easy clear, that Yelp will be hurt from saturationseffects.
But if you look for a buy of a new product with Sho by Local, you will ever do the same, if you look for a new product again. Saturationeffects like by Yelp don't exist.
Ray Dirks Research: Local Corporation(LOCM) Trades At An Absurdly Low Multiple To Overvalued Peers… July 24, 2013 by Ray Dirks
Posted on admin on July 24, 2013 // Leave Your Comment
Local Corporation (LOCM) is a company not afraid of making promises to shareholders because management consistently achieves its performance goals. The first quarter delivered a nice gain on gross margins in its largest revenue stream – websites it owns and operates – that gave the bottom line a $0.07 boost and swung the company to a net earnings profit. These margins will keep expanding as Local creates more ways to lower its costs of acquiring consumer traffic to the websites it controls with new marketing tools. Also in the first quarter, Local’s network of over 1,200 other websites that rely on the search results it provides produced revenue growth of a stunning 96% as the number of sites continues to go up almost 10% quarter to quarter.
For the second quarter, the number of monthly unique visitors (MUV) in mobile traffic jumped to 34 million, 79% more than a year ago and growing every quarter. Predictions say that 80% of local searches will be by mobile phones by 2018, and Local is ready not only from an operational standpoint, but also with its five patents of expertise in the $1.2 billion mobile advertising business. Advertisers are devoting more of their budgets to mobile ads because people tend to search more often from their phones. Local is actively pursuing companies infringing on the patents and one laws against Fry Electronics has already been filed. I believe more will follow later in the year."
I question why a company with such great fundamentals, smart management, and stellar revenue growth is still so cheap when several of its competitors are trading at nosebleed PPS multiples for no reason that I can comprehend. Online restaurant reservation taker Open Table, Inc. (OPEN) is over $68 per share, for a $1.5 billion market cap, almost 9x PPS, and rose on 1 ¼ points on Friday despite a ho-hum initial rating by RBC Capital Markets. Revenue growth is there, but at 16% in 2012 not nearly as impressive as Local.

im 3. Quartal -
dann ist dieser Wert überhaupt nicht mehr aufzuhalten.
Dann dürfte wirklich alles ganz schnell gehen!

If Local Corp with 45 million market-cap and 22.7 million revenues in Q2/2013 were valued like Marin with 391 million market-cap and only 18.2 million revenues in Q2/2013, the market-cap of Local Corp must be 488 million.
And both companies doing similar.
"Local is a leader in area-specific (i.e., "local") web search, indexing, and syndication.
The company owns and operates the flagshipsite, an online search and aggregation web
site. Using strong partnerships with internet search behemoths Google and Yahoo!/
Bing, Local caters to web consumers and local merchants--and, the Internet publishers
who wish to find them. The company is currently generating positive adjusted EBITDA,
has a growing base of tens of millions of monthly unique visitors (MUVs), and intends
on aggressively defending its valuable Pay-Per-Call patent IP. We think these shares
could move soon; thus, we're initiating coverage of Local at BUY with a $4.50
PT, or 1-times our FY14 revenue estimate of $108.4 million."

The company's efforts to increase sales from its high-margin Network
business could help to generate substantial cash flow in the years ahead.
Local has revved up its sales initiatives within its high-margin Network Publishing
business. This business helps merchants and community websites monetize
consumer traffic through genre-specific advertisements carefully targeted to
consumer interests and local communities. As more revenue accrues from this
business, the company's margin mix should improve leading to more consistent
profits and cash flow.

offer substantial new shopping-related revenue streams in 2014. Local is
planning to introduce a new shopping directory product and a price comparison
application called Savings Near Me in the 2nd half of the current year. These apps
will aggregate thousands of retailers across the country in real-time to provide
price-savvy consumers with price comparisons as they search for local products."
"Now that the initial noise about Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ:FB) and its beta project Graph Search is over, investors have the opportunity to digest and understand that this is not a traditional search on the Internet, but instead an algorithm to use a Facebook base of friends to uncover critical information like "Where's a good place to rent a bike in Grand Rapids, MI?" For someone sitting in New Orleans, this question has no relevance unless that person plans a trip to the Midwest soon. Bottom line - Graph Search is local search.
Of the hundreds of opinions preceding and immediately after the Facebook announcement, only a handful seemed to understand the implications, or lack of them, for search. Out of Facebook's total number of members only 100,000, or 0.01%, will trial Graph Search so its purpose as a meaningful search engine, if there is any at all, is years away. However, there is tremendous upside to Local Corporation (NASDAQ:LOCM) because any information culled from Facebook friends is bound to be skimpy and of dubious fact. Friends will inevitably turn to the Facebook search engine Bing, with which Local has an advertising partnership. And later when searching locally, they will ultimately use Local Corp."
