Also das Volk ist nicht gegen ABK, denn ABK sorgt dafür das Kommunen nicht nur günstiger an Kredite kommen, als mit dme Kommunenrating, nein ABK sichert sogar die Zahlungen an die Schuldner ab. Ich bin noch nicht so lange an der Börse das ich die Fälle aus den Händen schütteln kann, aber es geht hier um 700 Millionen in einem Verfahren mit der Finanzbehörede und wenn die das Geld zulässt dann ist alles gut. Vorher werden die Bücher von den eigenen Buchhaltern erstellt und dann von einem Wirtschaftsprüfer auf ordnungsgemäße Buchführung geprüft - der den Eigentümern die Richtigkeit garantiert.

Nach dem Q4 09 hatte Ambac von $4.5  billion NOLs  $443.9 - $472.0 bekommen;   Es beträgt fast 1/10 von NOLs

 

kann man NOLs Q4 09 und Q1 10 vergleichen.

dann kommt;

im Q3 10 war NOLs 7.0 billion; 7.0 billion /10= 700 millonen sollte gesamte Steuerrückzahlung sein.

d.h. IRS hatte gesamte Steuerrückzahlung nicht bezahlt und wurde komplett 700 milionen blockiert

aber warum? was ist ihr  Argümente?

oder Sie wollen 700 millionen auf den Segregated Account überweisen?

Ambac Strikes Tentative Deal With IRS Over Tax Refunds

A day after filing for bankruptcy, Ambac Financial Group Inc. struck a deal with the Internal Revenue Service Tuesday that requires the IRS to notify the bond insurer before taking any actions involving hundreds of millions of dollars in tax refunds. Judge Shelley C. Chapman of U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan signed off on the last-minute agreement, reached after Ambac sued the U.S. seeking an injunction to block the IRS from placing a lien on the firm's assets if it tries to recover some $700 million in tax refunds.

"We are in no sense at war with the IRS," said Martin Bienenstock of Dewey & Leboeuf LLP, a lawyer for Ambac. A lawyer for the government assured Chapman, the bankruptcy judge overseeing Ambac's case, that the IRS will abide by the agreement. At issue is whether Ambac accounted for the tax money correctly. The IRS has sought information regarding the money but hasn't taken any action to recover it. While the two sides might still end up fighting over the money, the agreement looks to be a step toward possible negotiations between the two sides. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for Nov. 30.
