QUEST MINERALS+MNG (WKN: A0M92C) Produktionsstart?
I still feel that Quest is a decent long term investment. But in spite of how I feel about the long term direction of Quest, I have to respect what the market can do to it in the short term. Since eugene has clammed up, without solid news Quest is probably going to continue it's decline. We are still at least a month out, maybe more, from favorable production numbers. The BK seems to have been delayed again although there is no official word yet. The annual report is not likely to have significant positive news in it and it may have some significant negative news in it. I don't have a solid feeling for the short term direction but it does not look good to me. Previously I was thinking that if we made some progress this week on the BK it would sustain the pps until production levels increased. Now I'm not sure. In other words, there is not much wind right now so I feel safer on the sidelines until I can gage the wind direction a little better. I don’t mean to bash. And I am by no means gone. I am still watching closely and looking for a comfortable entry point.

Re: BIG TROUBLE 23-Jan-09 04:44 pm I also liquidated today. I feel it is bound to shrink and took what I had on the table and reinvested in another area. I will return if the BK ever heads to a conclusion. I feel there is coal production and that will increase every month, but I can buy back at half the price and increase shares counts then.
GLTA and I'll keep watching,

Quest Minerals & Mining Announces that Court Sets Date for Confirmation of Subsidiary Gwenco's Plan to Emerge from Bankruptcy
Confirmation Hearing Scheduled for March 17, 2009, Positioning Gwenco to Emerge From Chapter 11 During Second Quarter of 2009
PATERSON, N.J., Feb. 3, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE)
-- Quest Minerals & Mining Corp. (OTCBB:QMLM) (Frankfurt:QMNB), a Kentucky based operator of energy and mineral related properties, today announced that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky has approved the Second Amended Disclosure Statement and Third Amended Plan of Reorganization for Quest's subsidiary, Gwenco, Inc. The Court also authorized Gwenco to begin soliciting approval from its creditors for the Plan of Reorganization. With these developments, Gwenco is on schedule to emerge from Chapter 11 protection during the second calendar quarter of 2009.
Eugene Chiaramonte, Jr., President of Quest, said, "Court approval of the Disclosure Statement and authorization to begin the solicitation of creditor approval of Gwenco's Plan of Reorganization represents an important step toward emerging from bankruptcy. We are confident that the Plan of Reorganization will be confirmed at the confirmation hearing, which would put us on schedule to emerge from Chapter 11 during the second calendar quarter of 2009."
The Bankruptcy Court order found that Gwenco's Disclosure Statement was adequate for the purposes of soliciting creditor approval for the Plan of Reorganization. The Disclosure Statement also resolved all prior creditor objections, and all objecting creditors agreed to entry of the order.
A confirmation hearing for the Court to consider approval of the Plan of Reorganization has been scheduled for March 17, 2009. In February, Gwenco will begin mailing notice of the proposed confirmation hearing and begin the process of soliciting approvals for the Plan of Reorganization from voting creditors. Assuming the requisite approvals are received and the Court confirms the Plan under Gwenco's current timetable, Gwenco should emerge from Chapter 11 protection during the second calendar quarter of 2009.
