weiß jemand worum es bei der News von heute geht ? Ne Klage ?  

Zweite positive Meldung innerhalb kurzer Zeit: Nach dem Fast-Track-Status für NEUVAX gab's von der FDA nun heute den Orphan Drug - Status für GALE-301 und GALE-301/GALE-302.

Für potentielle Medikamente, die seltene Krankheiten adressieren, kann man diesen Status vor der Zulassung beantragen. Man hat dann - im Fall der späteren Zulassung - zusätzlich zur Patentlaufzeit eine Marktexklusivität (in den USA wohl 7 Jahre). Außerdem gibt' s Vergünstigungen bzw. Befreiungen bei Studiengebühren und Steuern.

Jetzt fehlt nur noch die 3. News ... Empfehlung des IDMC (für NEUVAX) steht diesen Monat noch an. :-D
