Article Highlights Company's Innovative Operational and Capital Strategies and Rapid Revenue Growth to a Projected $120 Million in 2007
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NewMarket Technology, Inc. (OTCBB:NMKT - News) CEO Philip Verges was recently featured in the February 2007 issue of American Executive Magazine. In the article, Verges discussed the Company's innovative business strategy designed to maximize shareholder equity and growth in profitability and revenue.
Founded in 1997, NewMarket Technology joined the dot-com era as a systems integrator and reseller. With the dot-com bust in 2001, the management team, led by Mr. Verges, was left looking for a way to turn around slumping sales. This led to the founding of the Company's innovative business plan to provide financing to emerging technologies. In the article, Verges discusses how the company completed a reverse merger with an OTCBB company and used the capital from the public company to raise funds to acquire and invest in emerging technology products and services.
NewMarket has focused on the world's fastest growing economic regions, including Latin America and China for corporate expansion. Verges notes, "The key differentiator in our process to find the next up and coming entrepreneurial technology company is that we go local, not national, with our search. We are willing to get on an airplane and go to where the companies are based rather than going to a broker in New York."
In the fourth quarter of 2006, NewMarket Technology completed the first public listing of a subsidiary with the company's Chinese operations. NewMarket China (OTCBB:NMCH - News) is expected to realize revenues of $40 Million in 2007. Additionally, NewMarket recently completed a transaction with Paragon Financial Corp. (OTC:PGNF - News) to publicly list NewMarket's Latin America operations, with expected 2007 revenues of $30 Million.
