http://www.miningmx.com/news/energy/uranium-prices-set-to-recover.htm
Zitate:
The spot price of uranium fell rapidly from around $68/lb when the earthquake struck Fukushima to bottom at $49.29/lb on March 16, from where it has recovered to current levels just under $60/lb.
The analysts said: “Once the panic sellers stopped placing material into the spot market, the underlying tightness again dominated and the uranium price began to rise again.”
While noting the negative reaction from various countries in terms of shelved or delayed nuclear projects, the analysts’ overall assessment was that “the current leading nuclear builders - China, Russia, India, South Korea – are unlikely to change their long-term plans despite the magnitude of the tragedy in Japan”.

Zitate:
Net income during Q1 2011 was $14.0 million, or $0.01 per share compared to a net loss of $1.4 million or nil per share during Q1 2010.
While the impacts from Fukushima are not yet fully known, spot and term
uranium prices have begun to recover and current indications are that global
uranium demand is expected to be reduced downwards by only 5% over the next
decade. As a result, uranium market conditions are expected to continue to be
positive, particularly for diversified low cost producers such as Uranium One.
Analysts, on average, had expected earnings of 5 cents a share, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
The miner's earnings increased to $14 million, or 1 cent a share. That compared with a loss of $1.4 million, or nil a share, in the same period of 2010.
oder das:
Revenue rose to a quarterly record of $101.9 million, up from $35.5 million in the first quarter of 2010.

Dagegen hätt ich natürlich nix.
So long
