Wann gab es eigentlich zuletzt so eine negative Kursperiode? Das geht jetzt schon ein paar Monate. Kennt jemand einen Grund? Das können doch nicht alles nur die Trittbrettfahrer vom Kursfeuerwerk im letzten Oktober sein.

Weiß hier jemand mehr als unsere "Gurus"?

Hat jemand einen Einblick, wer hier verkauft?

BOCandorras Vermutung ("Most of us are not amused to see that there are people in Sydney who actually try to pull down the BCL share prices to a level of  1,00 AUD. We saw the same 6 months ago after the AGM hype." - mail vom 16.1.) halte ich bei den dort gehandelten Stückzahlen für unwahrscheinlich. Der Abverkauf in 10.000er Positionen hierzulande stört mich viel mehr.

Ich sehe das so, daß es momentan die schlechtestens News sind, daß es keine neuen News gibt. Daher werden wohl ein paar Investoren aus BOC rausgehen und bis zum Eintreffen neuer News eben wo anders investieren oder nur auf noch günstigere Kurse warten. Ich persönlich habe nicht die Zeit und die Nerven ständig den Kurs und News zu checken. Ich bleibe einfach drin bzw. stocke auf. Wenn die Sache aufgeht - und davon bin ich überzeugt - wird davon keiner mehr reden ob wir im Januar 2008 mal ca. 30% verloren haben. Die Story beobachte ich schon seit ca. 1990 und ich meine die längste Zeit des Wartens ist vorbei. Ich meine mich daran erinnern zu können, daß Bernecker damals den Wert empfohlen hatte. Bei meiner kürzlichen Anfrage bei ihm bestritt er dies allerdings. Nun ja - bin mir ja auch nicht sicher. Von Euch hat auch keiner eine antiquarische Sammlung von Berneckers Aktienbörse - oder?

Wer in D Shares einsammeln will,hat wohl eine einfache Möglichkeit durch Verkäufe von Mini Stückzahlen in AU den Kurs in die von ihm gewünschte Richtung zu bewegen u. die Zittrigen hier zum VK zu bewegen.Eine 90K Order heute morgen in Fra lässt darauf schliessen dass es so ist.Auch sollte man bedenken dass "interessierte Kreise" ;-)) keinen explodierenden BOC Kurs sehen wollen,solange PNG die 80 Mio Shares nicht ans ABG übertragen hat.Da macht jeder Ct Kursanstieg sofort 800K AUD aus.

Wer sich durch solche Spielchen rausschütteln lässt,ist selber Schuld.

Die Story ist voll intakt,hinter den Kulissen laufen mittlerweile Verhandlungen an  "höchster Stelle" in PNG u. Boug.

Kann natürlich sein dass es noch ein paar cts runtergeht,aber wer jetzt einsteigt bzw.eingestiegen ist,hat m.M. nach den Grundstein zu exorbianten Kursgewinnen gelegt ;-)))

lies mal das hb (sinkende rohstoffpreise, r wort). rb57 hat gesagt, seine frau sammelt gefüllte konservendosen etc., würde ich ich so langsam auch machen. ihmo  dieses paper wird die 0,05 weit unterschreiten (hast du mal versucht kupfer auf dein brot zu schmieren?). imho gehe mal davon aus (substanzwert incl. und ohne enteignung) wir sehen 0,02. sorry.  der mist ist noch nicht ganz weg (über ip ,    der verkäufer, findet ihr den guru). sorry, die gurus und die leider nicht zur verantwortung zu ziehenden. fragt mal ariva nach ips mit ids. bye. ihr  bekommt einen neuen artikel.

Noch nie hat es in Bougainville in den vergangenen Jahren eine derart massive Demonstration für Frieden und Aussöhnung gegeben. Und selbst die größten Unruhestifter (siehe markierter Bereich) sind mit von der Partie.

Warum nun gerade australische und deutsche Anleger jetzt kalte Füße bekommen, ist vollkommen unbegreiflich. Deshalb sei an dieser Stelle gesagt:

Wer die jetztigen Niedrigpreise zum Nachkauf nutzt, wird es sicher nicht bereuen.

Ein Wort zur Kommunikationspolitik unseres Vorstandes: Entgegen meinen Erwartungen wurden im Vierteljahres Report, der gerade herauskam, nichts über die Fortschritte in den Verhandlungen gesagt. Allerdings wurde ich auf den Preliminary Jahresreport, der am 21.Februar erscheint, vertröstet. Falls auch in diesem – wider Erwarten – nichts stehen sollte, müssen wir uns überlegen, ob wir den Vorstand nicht zu einer kontinuierlichen Informationspolitik zwingen können. Dabei sind allerdings Vor- und Nachteile sorgsam gegeneinander abzuwägen!



Nach Auskunft von Paul Coleman sind nämlich regelmäßige Konsultationen mit dem ABG, Landeignern und dem PNG Government im Gange. Auch habe ich herausgehört, dass wohl unser Ex-Gegner Kabui wohl inzwischen handzahm geworden ist. Das läßt – zusammen mit den obigen Nachrichten über die Versöhnungsfeierlichkeiten – darauf hoffen, dass in den nächsten Wochen Fortschritte erzielt werden, die sich dann auch erheblich auf die Aktienpreise positiv auswirken.

Peace fair programme

BOUGAINVILLE people have taken ownership of the peace and reconciliation process through their traditional Melanesian custom of breaking bows and arrows to signify that peace is restored.
Reconciliation meetings have been conducted between high level parities of government leaders, the Bougainville Revolutionary Army (BRA), the Bougainville Resistant Force (BRF), the Mekamui and others.
However there are still issues in various regions, districts, villages and communities that need to be immediately addressed in order for true peace in Bougainville.
In this report I will share my experiences and insight of the Peace Fair Programme and reconciliation ceremony that the Bougainville Community Development Services (BCDS) and the United Nations Development Project (UNDP) office in Buka took the initiative to do.
The initiative which involved the local community was a big step towards the Bougainville peace process in a bottom up approach.
The Peace Fair Programme aims to facilitate peace building, human rights, reconciliation, and had accompanying courses of conflict resolution, leadership and governance, economic and business skills and life skills development in the communities of Bougainville.
Reconciliation was what most people talked about and wanted however it was not easy to negotiate and bring about peace between individuals, groups, fighting factions and political leadership of government.
The reconciliation process in Bougainville took a lot of time and understanding from individuals before the actually result of peace was reached.
Reconciliation is believed to be a desire from ones heart rather then just for the sake of compensation without any meaning.
We visited Arawa recently and met with Peace Fair Committee members to see how they were coordinating and organizing the Peace Fair Programme.
The Arawa Peace Fair program was basically a public presentation for all parties involved to come out publicly and to reconcile and forgive one another.
Over 500 people attended and witnessed 16 groups reconciling in public and forgiving one another of their wrong doings.
The groups included clan groups, churches, women, youths, individuals and families.
Arawa Town Mayor Paul Nakara said that such programs initiated by UNDP are what most Bougainville communities need in order to strengthen peace in the region.
“My people of Arawa town are more than satisfied with the peace fair because through the program it has once again brought peace in the hearts of our communities, churches, youths, women and families,” said Mr Nakara.
“It is true that peace has already been restored in Bougainville but with such reconciliation program facilitated by the UNDP it is making a big impact to our lives,” said Mr Nakara.
He said the peace fair program is really a bottom up approach which provides opportunity for the grassroots people to come together in peace and unity.
School children also took part in the event reciting poems which touched the hearts of many.
The team also visited Rino, Baubake, Sikondo, Panguna, Kunua and Manetai to witness similar events.
Government officer James Torowa accompanied the UNDP team to witness the events.
At the Sininai School ground we met the chairman of the Peace Fair Michael Poowa who welcomed the team into the area.
The closing of the Peace Fair was well attended by more than 2000 people. The reconciliation ceremony witness mainly high profile BRA, BRF and BFF soldiers who were involved in the crisis.
In Buin district, the executive manger, John Itanu accompanied us to the Peace Fair in the Baubake constituency.
The Baubake Peace Fair was organized differently in that the main reconciliation ceremony and the grand opening were done on the first day of the Fair.
At first the atmosphere was tense as there was a sense of unwillingness by the people to reconcile.
The program began with a march past, prayer and the first reconciliation ceremony which involved the Paramount chief and other chiefs from the sub- clans in the area.
Tensions eased when the people saw chiefs reconciling with one another.
Ex-combatants and youths to come forward and reconcile.
It was revealed that 34 pre reconciliation ceremonies had already been conducted in the area by the chiefs. The Peace Fair was to witness seven identified reconciliation cases but only five cases reconciled while the other two did not attend the fair.
From the Peace Fair there was two major reconciliations witnessed between the BRA and BRF, and the other one was between Buin BRA commander, Thomas Tari and Wally Tomitom’s family.
The reconciliation was done in a traditional manner where the fractions exchanged traditional shell money called ‘Mimis’ which signifies forgiveness and acceptance for one another.
The ceremony was very emotional, it saw for the first time ex-combatants coming forward to reconcile and to say sorry for their wrong doing which was not easy for them to do.
This year 2008 the Government has recommended it to be the year of reconciliation and weapons disposal

Auch wenn RT mit 54% grösster BOC Aktionär ist,stehen allen Shareholders die gleichen Informationen zu.Dass es damit aber hapert braucht wohl nicht erwähnt zu werden.PT hat versprochen dass BOC in diesem Jahr bei der Kommunikation in die Offensive gehen wird.Das ist bis jetzt noch nicht passiert,allerdings ist das Jahr auch noch jung.Der Quarterly wäre aber eine gute Gelegenheit dazu gewesen.

Wenn man mit einigen direkt involvierten Bougainvillern in Kontakt ist bekommt man einen besseren Einblick in die Verhältnisse u. Fortschritte als wenn man nur auf die Informationspolitik von BOC angewiesen ist.Dass es nun schon seit einigen Monaten zu einer gesteigerten Aktivität hinter den Kulissen gekommen ist dürfte auch hier jeder mitbekommen haben.

Die im QUARTERLY PRODUCTION REPORT gemachte Aussage "that there has been no production since 15 May 1989" ist zwar formal korrekt,spiegelt aber die aktuelle Situation in keinster Weise wieder.

Auch von dem mit der PLA gemachten Scrapmetaldeal hätten wir ohne Kontakte vor Ort bis heute nichts erfahren.Die Antwort auf unser nachhaken,dass BOC im Jahr mehrere Aufträge vergibt ist etwas dürftig.Es handelt sich dabei schliesslich um die erste direkte Zusammenarbeit von BOC u. PLA nach knapp 20 Jahren,da wäre schon m.M.nach ein etwas positiveres Statement angebracht gewesen.

Auch würde ich gerne ein paar zusätzliche Details hierzu erfahren:BCL sponsored KMH and Associates to prepare a detailed step by step plan and costing for a chemical clean up in the Arawa/Loloho areas.

Auch von dieser Company könnte BOC also ohne weiteres ein Angebot dazu einholen u. z.B.auch den Bougainvillern mitteilen dass man als erstes damit beginnen will die Umweltschäden u. Altlasten zu beseitigen.

Bleibt zu hoffen dass der Preliminary Annual Report,im Feb. etwas offener wird,ansonsten müssten unsere Fragen spätestens auf der HV beantwortet werden.;-)))))))))))))))

Teenager finds gem of a precious stone

A YOUNG man from Buin, Bou-gainville, has stumbled onto a gem believed to be a ruby.
Joseph Tokura from Tarava village fronted up at the Buka Post-Courier office last Friday morning with his precious stone – the size and shape of a lolly – and both light bluish/greenish in colour. It is very shiny and reflects images like a mirror.
A Bougainvillean mineral geologist based in Tanzania, east Africa, who is on holidays said the “shiny stone’’ was a ruby and worth a lot of money, adding it was used for making precious necklaces, earrings and rings.
Tokura found the stone in Mivo River on the border of Buin and Siwai in south Bougainville.
Last Friday, the Post-Courier office was flooded with curious people who wanted to get a glimpse of Mr Tokura’s treasure. By 10am Mr Tokura and his group disappeared with the gem neatly wrapped in a piece of paper and tucked in a wallet because the whole of Buka Town was after him to see his “stone’’.
Mr Tokura said during the festive season while he was at home he had dreamt that all of a sudden he had become a rich man.
“I was sleeping that night, just before New Year when I had a dream. Someone instructed me to go to Mivo River and to the location and look for this shiny object. Very early in the morning while no one was up I got my goggles, spear and knife and went to Mivo,’’ he recalled.
He went to the place he dreamt about and put on his goggles and dived into the water. He found the shiny object. This shiny stone was stuck in a big stone and it took him a while to remove it.
Mr Tokura said in Buka he was lured by buyers, two of them offering him K10,000 for the gem.
He rejected both offers. When asked why, he said in his dream a voice had warned him in a parable not to go for any offer on the street but to go for the highest.
Mr Tokura believes the gift is from God and he has already made up his mind what to do with the money from the precious stone.
“When I get the money I will complete the church building in the village. I’ve always wanted to build that church and I believe God gave me this stone to get the money to complete His holy house,’’ he said.
