WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. Creates New Position of Director of Communications

EWING, N.J., Oct 31, 2007 (PrimeNewswire via COMTEX) -- WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. (WWAT), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, announced today that Amy Copeman has joined WorldWater in the newly created position of Director of Communications. Amy will report directly to Quentin Kelly, Chairman and CEO, and Bob Magyar, Senior Vice President of Sales. Operating from the Company's headquarters in Ewing, Amy's primary responsibilities will include corporate and media relations, sales marketing communications, and strategic program planning and development.

"The Company is growing so fast that we needed a strong marketing and communications executive to focus on and coordinate the multiple aspects of sales support and corporate communications," said Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman and CEO. "We are extremely pleased that Amy Copeman will fulfill that position. This is a pivotal time for the Company, particularly now that the merger agreement with ENTECH, Inc. has been signed, contributing to our enhanced role in the international solar market. Clearly it is more essential than ever that we communicate effectively to our shareholders."

Prior to joining WorldWater, Amy was an executive in corporate communications with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals at their headquarters in Madison, NJ. She has also been employed by BergerBrown Communications and the Alden Group Public Relations as an Account Executive in New York City. Amy received her MA in Corporate Communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University and her BA from Rider University in NJ

orldWater & Solar Technologies (WWAT.OB) has been one of the best performers of the year. In less than six months, shares rose more than four-fold. After a short retracement, the stock consolidated and is now edging towards a retest of all-time highs around $2.50.

Part of the rise can be attributed to the current attraction of traders to solar stocks, and part to the heavy participation of momentum and day traders. However, a large part of the climb is due to several transformative moves the company made during this period.

First, it inked substantial deals to develop solar projects for the City of San Diego and the Denver International Airport. Second, it agreed to purchase ENTECH, a move widely lauded by investors who believe that WorldWater & Solar will be able to exploit ENTECH’s solar concentrator technology. Third, WWAT just bolstered its balance sheet with a $13M+ private placement at not too steep a discount. In its last earnings release, WorldWater boasted of a $200M pipeline of potential bookings but lowered 2007 revenue guidance to $25-$30M.

The valuation, at first blush, appears high. With a market cap exceeding $400M per Yahoo!, shares already trade at twice the potential backlog and over 13x the high end of revenue expectations for 2007. I believe that Yahoo!’s calculations are low, and do not take into effect the ENTECH deal or the recent private placement.

Other solar companies trade at a wide range of multiples-to-2007 revenue forecasts. SunTech Power (STP), for example, trades at less than seven times expected 2007 revenues of $1.31 billion, while First Solar (FSLR) trades at over 28x. If WorldWater can land most of the identified potential bookings, and take advantage of ENTECH technology, it could grow into its valuation. However, that is a big “if”, and with shares nearing resistance, I won’t be a buyer.

DISCLOSURE: No position.

WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. to Unveil New Program at Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) Fall Conference

WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corporation (WWAT), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems announced today the introduction of WorldWater's new "ACWA WATT Select Program," offering solar systems to Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) members at no investment cost and at energy prices equal to or below grid rates for 20 years or more. ACWA is a statewide association of public water agencies whose 440 members are responsible for about 90% of the water delivered in California.

Click here to find out more!

Dr. Anand Rangarajan, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of WorldWater and Solar will introduce the program in a major speech to ACWA's 2007 Fall Conference and Exhibition. The event will be held at Indian Wells, CA from Nov. 27-30.

Dr. Rangarajan will deliver a presentation entitled, "Solar Power Purchase Agreements--Improved Cost and Reliability Performance for Today's Water Facilities." He will be joined by Mr. Gary T. Arant, General Manager of the Valley Center Municipal Water District, an ACWA member district that is in the process of building a zero carbon emissions WorldWater solar system under a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman and CEO of WorldWater & Solar Technologies stated, "ACWA is a national leader in championing critical water and related energy infrastructure and supply issues. Given the long-term water and energy demands facing California, the association is effective in driving awareness and helping to focus necessary water planning direction. We are pleased to be a "preferred ACWA vendor" and to have an opportunity to explain how our solar engineering systems and financing programs provide a value-added solution to the state's water agencies."

California's water delivery infrastructure is investigating new ways to cost effectively manage and grow water delivery capability within the state. Dr. Rangarajan will explain the process of calculating savings and the benefits of deploying WorldWater's proprietary AquaMax(TM) solar electric systems combined with the PPA finance model to enable water facility management to take advantage of significant long-term cost and environmental benefits.

WorldWater is a preferred solar provider to ACWA and has extensive experience working with California water agencies. In 2006, WorldWater's patented AquaMax(TM) technology was installed at California's Idyllwild Water District, becoming the first and only water utility in the world to be fully self-sustaining through solar power. In August, Valley Center Municipal Water District in San Diego County signed a 20-year PPA for WorldWater to build a 1.2 Megawatt solar system capable of powering multiple 350 hp pumps independent of the grid. Valley Center's system will incorporate WorldWater's AquaMax(TM), the only solar technology capable of powering electric pumps up to 1,000 hp and operate automatically in combination with the electric grid, battery and diesel power. The system will operate unattended and protect Valley Center from peak grid rates during sunny periods.

Dr. Rangarajan holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and spent several years at MIT's Lincoln Laboratory. As a solar and water pump specialist, he has over 20 years experience in all aspects of the solar electric business. He has pioneered the development of several proprietary solar-driven water pumping systems, products and markets and his systems are in over 20 countries.

More than 1,600 local water officials are expected to attend the Association of California Water Agencies' 2007 Fall Conference & Exhibition. Additional speakers include state and federal elected officials and water policy leaders who will discuss the status of California's water; including recent federal court decisions and potential 2008 water initiatives. Themed, "The Time is Now," the conference will officially begin Tuesday, Nov. 27 with ACWA committee meetings and continues through Friday, Nov. 30.

Potentialbetrachtung:

MfG Borntofly

SolarWorld AG will be providing climate-friendly solar power in Spain and
will build four solar power plants with a total peak output 8.5 Megawatts
on the Mediterranean island of Majorca. The Deutsche Bank AG (Department
Asset Finance & Leasing) coordinated the project development and set up the
financing of the power plants. The power plants in Majorca are planned to
be connected to the grid in early 2008.
The sites of the solar power plants have been chosen very carefully in
cooperation with local authorities according to ecological and economic
criteria. In addition to its high quality modules, SolarWorld AG will be
deploying its innovative support frame technology Sunfix, an in-house
development that can be installed flexibly on uneven terrain and uses a
screw-type substructure that avoids surface sealing.
These modern solar power plants generate 11.9 million kilowatt hours
annually making a sustainable contribution to alleviating some of the
pressure on Majorca's energy supply. The output generated corresponds to
the annual power consumption of approximately 3,500 three person
households.
SolarWorld AG intends to realise, together with the Deutsche Bank AG,
further projects in the Mediterranean region. Spain, Italy and Greece are
of particular interest since these countries have excellent solar radiation
conditions.

Lg Borntofly

At the request of the U.S. Marines at Camp Fallujah, WorldWater and        Morrell will supply the systems to the Military for assistance to the        farmers. Mobile MaxPure™ is a stand-alone,        sturdy and robust 7-foot cube that opens with the press of a button,        unfolding a solar array which can deliver 3.2 kilowatts of electrical        power and, with the Company’s patented AquaMax™        controls, can pump and purify up to 30,000 gallons of water daily. The        unit can also desalinate brackish or sea water. It will operate from        sunshine alone or in combination with a power grid. Mobile MaxPure™        is also equipped with a back-up generator and a battery bank for 24-hour        use. Delivery of the Morrell donation of the 12 WorldWater units to the        U.S. Military for Iraqi placement was organized and managed by        Millennium KI, LLC, a military supply contractor for civil action and        humanitarian products and works.

The units are scheduled for pick-up and delivery from WorldWater        Headquarters in Ewing, NJ by the U.S. Army on December 15 for immediate        air shipment to Baghdad and Marine distribution into the Euphrates        Valley.

“The Iraqi farmers do not have reliable power        from the electric grid to operate their irrigation pumps or treat their        water for drinking,” said Quentin T. Kelly,        Chairman & CEO of WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. “When        we received an e-mail from the Marines at Camp Fallujah requesting water        purification units, we moved immediately. Morrell and Millennium        responded equally. I understand families are drinking directly from the        river, which of course is seriously polluted. Within 30 minutes of Max’s        arrival on site, the people will be able to drink purified water from        the river and able to start irrigating crops.”

Paul Jeffries, CFO of the Morrell Foundation said, “Dedicated        to providing hope and assistance to people across the world, we are so        pleased to work with WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. and the U.S.        Military to provide this equipment, which we believe will be essential        in helping to improve the quality of life to residents along the        Euphrates River, as well as enabling them to provide basic needs for        themselves. Passionate about humanity and helping others, this is an        excellent example of the wide variety of programs that Morrell offers to        assist people around the world that have been affected by natural        disasters, armed conflict or poverty.”

In diesem Sinne: frohes Schaffen!

WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. Receives Order to Supply Solar Powered Mobile MaxPure(TM) Units to Provide Clean Drinking Water and Electricity to Iraqi Farmers

WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. (WWAT), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today announced that the company will ship 12 of its Mobile MaxPure(TM) solar water and power-supply units for use by farmers and families in the Euphrates Valley of Iraq. The systems have been purchased for $900,000 and are being donated by the Morrell Foundation, an international charitable foundation that provides clean water to people in need. The portable Mobile MaxPure(TM) systems can each supply 30,000 gallons per day of clean drinking water or irrigation, plus electric power for Iraqi farmers and their families along the Euphrates River.

At the request of the U.S. Marines at Camp Fallujah, WorldWater and Morrell will supply the systems to the Military for assistance to the farmers. Mobile MaxPure(TM) is a stand-alone, sturdy and robust 7-foot cube that opens with the press of a button, unfolding a solar array which can deliver 3.2 kilowatts of electrical power and, with the Company's patented AquaMax(TM) controls, can pump and purify up to 30,000 gallons of water daily. The unit can also desalinate brackish or sea water. It will operate from sunshine alone or in combination with a power grid. Mobile MaxPure(TM) is also equipped with a back-up generator and a battery bank for 24-hour use.

"The Iraqi farmers do not have reliable power from the electric grid to operate their irrigation pumps or treat their water for drinking," said Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman & CEO of WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. "When we received an e-mail from the Marines at Camp Fallujah requesting water purification units, we moved immediately. Morrell and Millennium responded equally. I understand families are drinking directly from the river, which of course is seriously polluted. Within 30 minutes of Max's arrival on site, the people will be able to drink purified water from the river and able to start irrigating crops."

Paul Jeffries, CFO of the Morrell Foundation said, "Dedicated to providing hope and assistance to people across the world, we are so pleased to work with WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. and the U.S. Military to provide this equipment, which we believe will be essential in helping to improve the quality of life to residents along the Euphrates River, as well as enabling them to provide basic needs for themselves. Passionate about humanity and helping others, this is an excellent example of the wide variety of programs that Morrell offers to assist people around the world that have been affected by natural disasters, armed conflict or poverty."

WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. Receives Letter of Intent to Build 3 MW Solar Farm in Aragon, Spain
via COMTEX

December 13, 2007

Project with Ingenium EnergA(C)tica S.L. of Barcelona is in Addition
to 10 MW Solar Project with M&G Promociones Planned for 2008 - Part of
Company Program to Supply Solar Systems to the Fast-Growing Spanish
Market

EWING, N.J., Dec 13, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

WorldWater & Solar Technologies Corp. (OTCBB:WWAT.OB), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, announced today that the Company has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Ingenium Energetica S.L. of Barcelona (Ingenium) to construct a 3 MW solar farm in Aragon, Spain. The project is expected to be completed by mid-2008. The LOI is subject to contractual negotiations as part of the new regulations that are being established by the Spanish Government.

The new LOI is in addition to the 10 MW project previously announced with M&G Promociones de Vivienda Urbana S.A. of Madrid as the first segment of plans to build 130 MW over 5 years. Both the 3 MW and 10 MW projects are planned for construction in 2008. Ingenium is a major construction firm focusing on civil, building and infrastructure work. Additional projects in Spain are currently also in discussion with Ingenium and other developers by WWAT and Prime Solar Senergy, the Company's representative in Spain.

Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman and CEO of WorldWater & Solar Technologies stated, "The Spanish market is climbing fast, having jumped 100% in 2007 and headed even higher in 2008. The pressure is on to complete solar projects by September 29, 2008 in order to receive the current feed-in tariff of 44 Euro cents per kilowatt hour. After September, the Spanish Government is planning a lower feed-in tariff, still very attractive at an estimated 31 Euro cents, but firms holding current licenses can realize the maximum by completing projects before the September date -- and we have the engineering teams in Spain to construct these projects."

The Company will use single-action tracking flat plate technology for the 3 MW Ingenium project but is planning to use the ENTECH 20X concentrator PV technology (CPV) on certain of its projects when its 50 MW production plant in Texas, now in early construction, and a planned assembly operation in Spain begin delivering product in volume, which is expected in April, 2008. ENTECH's CPV technology is anticipated to be particularly efficient and cost effective in Southern Spain, with turnkey per-watt pricing estimated to be among the lowest in the world.

"We are very pleased to be able to partner with WorldWater & Solar Technologies on this important venture," says Pedro Maqueda Suner, COO and Chief Engineer of Ingenium. "This solar farm will be our first, although we are very experienced in large construction and public works projects, so it is good to have WorldWater, with its extensive experience as a major solar integrator and developer, as our implementer."

The Spanish Government has set an official goal to install 400 MW by 2010 but its Department of Industry has proposed to the National Energy Commission to raise the goal to 1200 MW.
