TORONTO, ONTARIO, May 26, 2011 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX News Network) --
Advanced Explorations Inc. (TSX VENTURE: AXI)(FRANKFURT: AE6) (the "Company" or "AEI") is pleased to announce it has commenced an airborne magnetic survey of its iron sands project located along the north-west coast of the Alaska Peninsula near Port Heiden and about 700 kilometres south-west of Anchorage, Alaska. The purpose of the airborne magnetic survey is to better define the size, shape and distribution of the magnetite bearing sands both onshore and in the offshore area. It is expected that the results from the survey will help shape a Phase 1 exploration program.
The iron sands project comprises of a placer deposit that is attractive primarily for its magnetite content. The deposit area is composed of an active beach and offshore area as well as paleo-beach and terraces. A composite sands sample taken during an initial site visit returned a result of 8.23% Fe2O3 which compares favorably to other iron sands projects.
John Gingerich, President and CEO, commented:
"Airborne magnetic surveying is a rapid and cost effective way to map the distribution and thickness of the magnetite bearing sands. This survey information will be used to guide follow up exploration as we further define the attributes of the deposit. We believe the project's ocean location and proximity to China provide significant economic development advantages, and the magnetic survey is another step toward understanding the asset's true potential".
EDCON-PRJ, based out of Denver, Colorado has been contracted to manage the data acquisition and interpretation. Geophysicist John Seibert is on site and conducting the surveying. Seibert, who is now based in Alaska, is a former Vice President of EDCON-PRJ and has over 35 years of world-wide magnetic data acquisition and aviation experience.
The survey to be flown is 1,322 line kilometres in length, including 1,162 line kilometres of survey line and 160 line kilometres of tie lines. The survey lines will be perpendicular to the coast spaced at 250 metre intervals and the tie lines at 2,000 metre intervals.

Advanced Explorations' Tuktu Iron Project Drill Program Meets Objective Early
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 29, 2011) - Advanced Explorations Inc. (TSX VENTURE:AXI)(FRANKFURT:AE6) (the "Company" or "AEI") is pleased to announce it is nearing completion of its Tuktu drill program. Drill fences at 400 metre intervals utilizing 2 drills are testing the 2.6 km strike of Tuktu 1. Holes 12 and 13 are currently being drilled, and previous drill holes are designed to test the banded iron formation (BIF) to depths of 250 metres on average with the deepest hole to date going 311 metres.
The Company recently completed a ground magnetometer survey over the Tuktu 1 target area, and the results have been very useful for mapping the distribution of the magnetite within the iron formation helping geologists optimize the drill plan. The steeply dipping BIF mineralization remains open at depth and drill logging results are consistent with the previous geologic mapping. AEI will also be initiating a program of additional surface mapping and sampling to better characterize the Tuktu 1 mineralization. This program will also extend onto the other 10 adjoining claims to better understand the discovery potential of the Tuktu area.
John Gingerich, President and CEO, commented:
"We anticipate we will complete sufficient drilling over the next few weeks to properly delineate the resource. The program has been highly successful, and the target objective for 2011 will be completed ahead of schedule. We believe a second phase drill program will not be required as we will have enough drilling to complete a NI 43-101 compliant resource report as planned. While we experienced a challenging start of the program, the overall project performance has allowed us to complete our target in a single campaign and we expect initial assay results from our Tuktu project soon. The accelerated program also allows us to effectively communicate the project opportunity to potential partners".
AEI continues to move forward on its Roche Bay Feasibility Study process as commenced with the engagement of Wardrop Engineering Inc, a Tetra Tech Company earlier this year. Following approval as set forth in the Management Information Circular (May 30th, 2011) at today's Annual General and Special Meeting and completion of the Company's Tuktu drill program, AEI anticipates starting its feasibility drilling program at Roche Bay.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 14, 2011) - Advanced Explorations Inc. (the "Company" or "AEI") is pleased to announce initial drill results from its Tuktu Iron Project located in Nunavut, Canada. Drill intercepts to date confirm that Tuktu has a drill defined strike length of over 2000 metres of Banded Iron Formation ("BIF") of the 2,600 metres of mapped strike on surface. The entire bedrock intersection of hole 11TT007 was within BIF with occasional narrow dykes, with 167.1 metres grading 31.8% Fe. Mineralization within this drill hole increases to the northeast with the bottom 65.3 metres grading 32.2% Fe.
Drill hole 11TT002, drilled approximately 350 metres along strike to the west of hole 11TT007, intersected 71.74 metres of BIF averaging 32.8% Fe before encountering 22 metres of metasediments and then re-entered BIF. Drill hole 11TT001 intersected a zone of significant structural complexity with alteration and limited zones of BIF within the first 112 metres and terminated in a thick sequence of metasediments. The zone corresponds on surface with a mapped mafic dyke. Detailed geologic work will be done to assess the economic potential of the structural zone for other types of mineralization.

TORONTO, ONTARIO, Jul 21, 2011 (Marketwire via COMTEX News Network) --
Advanced Explorations Inc. (the "Company" or "AEI") (TSX VENTURE:AXI)(FRANKFURT:AE6) is pleased to announce further drill results from its Tuktu Iron Ore Project located in Nunavut, Canada. Hole 11T003 intercepted 44.35 metres of quality banded iron formation (BIF) grading 32% Fe within a broader 148.37 metre interval of BIF grading approximately 31% Fe (see table below).
John Gingerich, President and CEO, commented:
"We are very pleased with the assay results from the first five drill holes from our Tuktu Project as they continue to demonstrate higher grade Banded Iron Formation (BIF) associated with Tuktu 1. The mineralization appears to be very consistent over the entire drilled BIF interval. Ground magnetometer surveying affirms the previous limits of the Tuktu 1 deposit being 2,600 metres in strike and up to 700 metres in width locally. The apparent consistency and thicknesses of the BIF grades reported to date bodes well for the project. Our goal is to complete a NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate for Tuktu this fall, and the program is on track to meet this objective".
Presented in the table below are the results for drill holes 11TT003 & 11TT004 which were drilled 400 metres south east of the previously announced drill holes 11TT001 and 11TT002 and 600 metres south east of 11TT007. Drill hole 11T004 intersected approximately 104 m of metasediments before entering into quality BIF.

Advanced Explorations Inc. Intercepts 264 Metres of 33% Iron at Tuktu Project-Includes 9 Metres of 50% Iron
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - July 27, 2011) - Advanced Explorations Inc. (the "Company" or "AEI") (TSX VENTURE:AXI)(FRANKFURT:AE6) is pleased to announce the latest drill results from its Tuktu Iron Ore Project located in Nunavut, Canada. Drill-hole 11TT008 intercepted 9.04 metres of quality banded iron formation ("BIF") grading 50.19% Fe within a broader 283.07 metre interval of BIF grading 32.36% Fe (see table below).
John Gingerich, President and CEO, commented:
"The Tuktu assay results continue to impress us. We are reporting very long intercepts of 32% to 33% iron, and now we have found a high grade lens that grades over 50% iron in drill-hole 11TT008. This is a very significant discovery and represents some of the highest grade iron we have found on the Melville Peninsula. Unfortunately, this hole terminated within high grade BIF and thus, the full extent is not known. Defining the surface exposure along with strike and width of the high grade lens is an important next step to defining the potential of direct ship ore ("DSO") at Tuktu".
Presented in the table below are the results for drill holes 11TT008 & 11TT009, both collared on the same section, which were drilled approximately 400 metres south east of the previously announced drill holes 11TT003 and 11TT004. Drill-hole 11TT008 was planned to go to a depth of 325 metres but stopped short due to technical reasons.

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 10, 2011) - Advanced Explorations Inc. (the "Company" or "AEI") is pleased to provide an update on recent field activities relating to its iron and other mineral prospects on the Melville Peninsula in Nunavut, Canada. As part of the feasibility study at its flagship Roche Bay Iron Project, the Company has commenced a resource expansion drill program on the project's C-Zone. Drill hole RBC-11-93 has been completed to its planned depth of 175 metres and the drill has now collared on its second hole. Additionally, geotechnical engineers from Wardrop Engineering Inc. and EBA Engineering Consultants Inc., two Tetra Tech Companies have just completed a site visit to the Roche Bay Project in order to evaluate potential sites for infrastructure and port development.
Advanced Explorations has further increased its efforts to secure lands relevant to mineral showings on the West Melville Peninsula and has completed additional staking and prospecting within an underexplored, three billion year old greenstone belt. The Company targeted prospective formations that it believed to be similar to the nearby Adamson River nickel showing as described by the Geological Survey of Canada (Open File 6729 with assayed grades up to 8% nickel).
John Gingerich, President and CEO, commented:
"To date, this has been an extremely successful and active exploration season for the Company. With the ongoing work on the feasibility study, high quality results from our Tuktu project and an increased interest in the mineral showings on the West Melville, we are very confident in creating further value in all of our assets".
As part of its on-going environmental program, the Company has also continued to undertake environmental surveys at both Tuktu and Roche Bay projects. Surveys include baseline water sampling, marine and terrestrial mammal surveys (including caribou), raptor and breeding bird surveys, as well as archaeological work. This program constitutes the sixth year of baseline environmental studies for the Roche Bay area, and the initial year of study at the Company's Tuktu Project.
AEI also remains committed to its Alaska Iron Sands Project option (press released May 26th, 2011). Work has been delayed to focus on the Roche Bay Feasibility Study and the increased West Melville activities. The Company anticipates initiating the work program in early Q4 of this year.

Advanced Explorations Inc. Reports 165 metre section of 34% Iron at Tuktu Project – Includes 8 metres of 50% Iron
(TSX VENTURE: AXI)
(FRANKFURT: AE6)
TORONTO, ONTARIO- August 30, 2011 - Advanced Explorations Inc. (the "Company" or "AEI") is pleased to announce further drill results from its Tuktu Iron Ore Project located in Nunavut, Canada. Drill-hole 11TT011 intercepted 8 metres of high quality banded iron formation (BIF) grading 50.27% Fe within a broader 165.25 metre interval of BIF grading 33.61% Fe (see table below). The same broad interval also included 14 metres of 46.34% iron.
Drill-hole 11TT011 was collared approximately 125 metres ahead of drill-hole 11TT010 (reported August 17, 2011 – 237m @ 33% Fe) and drilled on the same section at the same azimuth and dip. Together the holes have intersected the footwall and hanging wall contacts of the BIF and results indicate that the width of the section is just over 300 metres wide carrying a grade of over 33% iron. The depth of the section has not been established.
John Gingerich, President and CEO, commented:
"We are excited by the consistent high grade, plus 50% Fe, banded iron formation being intersected at Tuktu 1. The broad intervals of greater than 33% Fe define an exceptional magnetite rich BIF deposit. Tuktu is emerging as an important asset adding value to the business development scenarios of the region.”
AEI expects the remaining Tuktu 1 drilling assays to be received in the near future which will allow us to initiate the NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate. The Company also plans to initiate metallurgical studies to better understand the Project’s development options.
