US$ (0,35 US$ Gewinn pro Aktie). US$, 28,7 Mio.
Quartals wieder auf 2,25 US$ zurückfiel.

Coughlin Stoia Geller Rudman & Robbins LLP ("Coughlin Stoia") (http://www.csgrr.com/cases/ldk/) today announced that a class action has been commenced in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California on behalf of purchasers of LDK Solar Co. Ltd. ("LDK") (NYSE:LDK) American Depositary Shares ("ADSs") during the period from August 1, 2007 to October 3, 2007 (the "Class Period").
If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the Court no later than 60 days from today. If you wish to discuss this action or have any questions concerning this notice or your rights or interests, please contact plaintiff's counsel, Darren Robbins of Coughlin Stoia at 800/449-4900 or 619/231-1058, or via e-mail at djr@csgrr.com. If you are a member of this class, you can view a copy of the complaint as filed or join this class action online at http://www.csgrr.com/cases/ldk/. Any member of the purported class may move the Court to serve as lead plaintiff through counsel of their choice, or may choose to do nothing and remain an absent class member.
The complaint charges LDK and certain of its officers and directors with violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. LDK manufactures multicrystalline solar wafers, which are the principal raw material used to produce solar cells.
The complaint alleges that throughout the Class Period, defendants concealed the full extent of how badly flawed the Company's internal controls were, preventing it from accurately measuring or reporting its inventory. As a result, the Company's inventories were overstated by an estimated 25%, causing inflation in LDK's assets, earnings and earnings per share ("EPS") reported during the Class Period.
On October 3, 2007, LDK's share price fell almost 25% following a report that LDK's financial controller had resigned, stating that the Company lacked internal controls and that the Company's reported 1,000 tonne inventory of polysilicon was overstated by 25%. LDK's former controller, Charley Situ, reported these discrepancies to both the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the Company's external auditor, KPMG. LDK could not deny or confirm Situ's allegations on October 3, 2007, but promised to investigate and issue a further statement. The Company has since stated it will have an independent outside auditor investigate Situ's allegations. The Company's ADSs, which traded as high as $76.75 on September 27, 2007, plummeted $16.66, or 24.39%, to close at $51.65 on October 3, 2007. The ADSs continued to decline in after-hours trading, falling to $47.49.
The complaint alleges that defendants' Class Period statements describing LDK's business fundamentals, financial results and continued sales and earnings growth potential were false and misleading as: (a) defendants had overstated LDK's inventory of polysilicon prior to and during the Class Period and those false statements remained alive in the market during the Class Period; and (b) due to the Company's inventory of polysilicon being overstated, the Company's reported earnings and EPS prior to and during the Class Period were false and those false statements remained alive in the market during the Class Period.
Plaintiff seeks to recover damages on behalf of all purchasers of LDK ADSs during the Class Period (the "Class"). The plaintiff is represented by Coughlin Stoia, which has expertise in prosecuting investor class actions and extensive experience in actions involving financial fraud.
Coughlin Stoia, a 180-lawyer firm with offices in San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Boca Raton, Washington, D.C., Houston and Philadelphia, is active in major litigations pending in federal and state courts throughout the United States and has taken a leading role in many important actions on behalf of defrauded investors, consumers, and companies, as well as victims of human rights violations. Coughlin Stoia lawyers have been responsible for more than $45 billion in aggregate recoveries. The Coughlin Stoia Web site (http://www.csgrr.com) has more information about the firm.

joe1111: Murray, Frank & Sailer LLP Has Filed a Shareholder Class Action against LDK Solar Co., Ltd
29.11.07 16:47
The complaint charges LDK and certain of its officers and directors with violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. More specifically, the Complaint alleges that the Company failed to disclose and misrepresented the following material adverse facts which were known to defendants or recklessly disregarded by them: (1) that the Company had significantly less polysilicon feedstock inventory than it was reporting; (2) that only a fraction of the feedstock inventory that the Company did have was of sufficient quality for use in the manufacture of silicone wafers; and (3) that, as a result of the foregoing, the Company's financial statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.
If you are a member of the proposed Class, you may move the court no later than December 7, 2007 to serve as a lead plaintiff for the Class. A Lead Plaintiff is a representative chosen by the Court, who acts on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation.
Murray, Frank&Sailer LLP and its predecessor firms have devoted its practice to shareholder class actions and complex commercial litigation for more than fifteen years and have recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for shareholders in class actions throughout the United States. China-based LDK Solar Co Ltd (LDK.N: Quote, Profile , Research), which is undergoing an independent audit over allegations it overstated the value of its polysilicon inventories, also saw its stock rise on a report it will tap $700 million in long-term debt and credit lines and about $100 million in customer prepayments.
Telephone calls to the company's office in Sunnyvale, California, requesting confirmation from Chief Financial Officer Jack Lai and from its public relations officials were not immediately returned.
Last Friday, LDK, which manufactures multicrystalline solar wafers used in solar cells, said it has secured an additional 312 tonnes of polysilicon supplies for 2008.
On the New York Stock Exchange, LDK Solar closed up $8.67, or 26.84 percent, at $40.97, and Trina Solar Ltd (TSL.N: Quote, Profile , Research) gained 8.2 percent at $48.98.
On Nasdaq, Solarfun Power Holdings Co Ltd (SOLF.O: Quote, Profile , Research) finished the day $5.65, or 27.43 percent ahead at $26.25, China Sunergy Co Ltd (CSUN.O: Quote, Profile , Research) rose 12.85 percent to $10.45, and Canadian Solar Inc (CSIQ.O: Quote, Profile , Research) was up 15 percent at $18.70.
In options trading, 45,000 calls compared with 13,000 puts changed hands in LDK, which was four times its average volume, according to market research firm Trade Alert.
"The House of Representatives is expected to vote on an energy bill within the next two days. An energy bill before Congress is expected to move quickly," said William Lefkowitz, options strategist at brokerage firm vFinance Investments in New York.
"The main issue is alternative energy. If approved this is perceived as a positive for LDK and other stocks in the sector," he said. "LDK calls, conveying the right to buy the stock as high as $80 per share, are active this morning."
The House is expected to vote on an energy bill this week after Speaker Nancy Pelosi struck a deal with Michigan Rep. John Dingell, a long-time champion of Detroit automakers such as General Motors Corp (GM.N: Quote, Profile , Research) and Ford Motor Co (F.N: Quote, Profile , Research), to raise fuel-economy standards to 35 miles per gallon by 2020.
Environmental groups have hailed the deal as historic, because it would be the first time Congress has taken significant action on fuel efficiency since the 1980s. But it is still uncertain whether production tax credits for solar, wind and other alternative energy sources will be in the bill.
Pete Najarian, co-founder of Web information site optionmonster.com in Chicago said: "What we are seeing are more and more companies such as Solarfun reacting to solar as a renewable energy. The call speculation has been building in many of the names."
Solarfun said on Tuesday that Good Energies, an investor in the renewable energy and energy efficiency industry, agreed to purchase about 66.7 million ordinary shares and 281,011 American Depository Shares from current shareholders. The investment would raise Good Energies' stake in the company to about 34.7 percent from 6.3 percen
