Online Trading and Transaction Platform Already 2 customer: ssec-steel, gsec, ... and more soon (?). Could be easy transfered into other markets. Nice revenue of $250,000 per year and customer. IPTV and VOD Broadband Operation Platform iptv, cctv, china telecom My opinion: revenue should be at least the same like 1. , could be a "MONEY-SPINNER" in the future. Online Game Operation Platform gmgame, qianlong This is the new counterstrike platform. Revenue ??? My opinion: Imortant is, that forlink builds up a good reputation as ASP (application service provider) in this market. The counterstrike platform will be the key case. I do think, they will offer this service to other "online gaming" enterprises. 17games (=China.com) is already a gmgame "for-online" customer. Kingsoft is already forlinks softhouse content provider. Software Room Operation Platform This is forlinks softhouse service, cooperation with content partner like kingsoft, blogchina, ccidnet,... Revenue ??? for-online business with all the other smaller and bigger customer Customer from Forlink, or gmgame, ayuan, ... Customer are: stacilc, cngas (?), cymould, pabx, gits, ... Revenue ??? cec-ceda cooperation (generation of new for-online customer) This will be an important cooperation for forlinks business. Investment (together with newhero) in Calitalk (outsourcing/offshore business) I do see this as an add-on. Would be nice, to generate some revenue from calitalk soon. I don't care if not.
Beijing Mobile The New BOSS upgrade phrase 3 project, a 30 million US$ project ? Agricultural Bank ???
cec-ceda and forlink:
- Since August 2004 cec-ceda is one of the major links on forlinks new websites.
- November 2004, forlink is one of cec-cedas 3 cooperation partner:
http://www.cec-ceda.org.cn/ (cec-cedas new website) - The other 2 are:
http://www.cybercast.com.cn/ (100 % owened by cec-ceda ???)
http://www.mfund365.com/ (venture capital company ???) - Identical content at:
1) http://www.cec-ceda.org.cn/einfo/info-jianzhan.htm = http://www.for-online.com/site_intro.html
2) http://www.cec-ceda.org.cn/einfo/info-youxiang.htm = http://www.for-online.com/mail_intro.html
3) http://www.cec-ceda.org.cn/einfo/info-duanxin.htm = http://www.for-online.com/sms_intro.html - Since 2005-02-04 cec-ceda is listed as for-online customer, with "for-online" mail service
http://mail.cec-ceda.org.cn/
Before that cec-cedas "mail" page was identical with cec-cedas homepage. This is important to understand the following context.
cec-ceda related websites:
fchina seems to be cec-ceda and under construction (seems to be build by forlink, because of cec-ceda "mail" page)
The other are related with cec-ceda but no forlink customer (but we should watch them).http://www.fchina.org/

Other enterprises with "cec-ceda" mail page:
This are enterprises with a "cec-ceda" mail page. I am sure, that this are new forlink customer. We should watch them, the mail service should move to "for-online", like cec-ceda last week.

Hi friends,
I did send an email to Forlinks IR, regarding the 104 open jobs.
http://www.51job.com/sc/co_all_job.php?coid=(225683)
Looks good to me:
"As you know, we are a fast growing company in ASP (Application Service Provider), Software outsourcing, as well as telecom vertical. The expansion in these areas and our long-term growth require experienced industry professionals."
The "Forlink" answer, it's not allowed to Tao to say something:
"The hiring is not necessarily intended for any particular projects."
He misunderstood my question. But indirect he says, that the 104 open jobs are correct. Sure that most of them are still open, especially from 2005-02-05 :
"I am sorry I can't confirm the number because that changes frequently, but many of the positions listed on http://www.51job.com/sc/co_all_job.php?coid=(225683) are still open."

They developed MEBS "Market Electronic Business Solution" a B2B platform. The trading volume at ex-steelcn seems to be low (about 6000 tons/day) compared with ssec-steel (20000 to 40000 tons/day).

Please do the following things:
1) install your windows Chinese speech extensions (simple and traditional)
2) I had the best success by "copy and paste" the Chinese content.
3) paste the content into altavista's edit box
4) translate from "Chinese simple" to "English" (older content might be better translated with "Chinese traditional" to "English").
The translation of proper names and company names might be funny. Please try to translate them yourselve, for example "时力科技 = forlink" and "时力在线 = for-online".
drubert
Main search engines are:
- http://www.google.com (no Chinese specific domain necessary)
Important are the Chinese keywords, you are searching for.
Translate the results with the help of altavista (http://babelfish.altavista.com/).
Samples, regarding Forlink (using http://cn.websearch.yahoo.com):
- Use "13910518899", forlinks 24h service number:
http://cn.websearch.yahoo.com/...ta=vl%3Dlang_zh-CN%26vl%3Dlang_zh-TW - Use "时力杯", regarding gmgames and qianlongs cooperation:
http://cn.websearch.yahoo.com/...lang_zh-CN%26vl%3Dlang_zh-TW&b=1 - Use "时力在线", regarding "for-online":
http://cn.websearch.yahoo.com/search/...%25C6%25BC%25BC%2522&lang= - Use "时力科技", regarding "forlink" (take care, 时力科技电.. is not forlink) :
http://cn.websearch.yahoo.com/search/...5BC%25BC%2522%2B2004&lang= - Use "时力永联科技", regarding "forlink":
http://cn.websearch.yahoo.com/search/...%25C6%25BC%25BC%2522&lang - ... and so on
Do the same with google and baidu.
And post your results at ariva!
