Universal Property Development and Acquisition Corporation (UPDV.PK) has entered negotiations with an experienced oil and gas producer for the management and improvement of its oil and gas production properties in Kansas and Texas. According to the initial proposals between the parties, UPDA will retain all of its current production while the new partner will undertake field improvements and maintenance and share in the resulting increase in production.
The proposed partnership will result in increased oil and gas production, reduced expenses and state of the art maintenance and technological improvements to UPDA’s production fields in Palo Pinto and Jack County Texas and Miami County Kansas. The partnership, which is expected to be implemented immediately upon conclusion of negotiations, will provide the UPDA fields with additional production personnel and capital improvements.
As UPDA management negotiates to improve and enhance production from its existing oil and gas wells, it also continues to negotiate with EOG Resources for a previously disclosed farm out transaction that would result in a new Barnett Shale drilling program on UPDA’s properties in North Texas. This new drilling program would also result in additional revenues to UPDA with no additional cost or expense. These transactions further demonstrate UPDA’s aggressive action to restructure, increase revenues and reduce expenses in order to build shareholder value.

In an effort to rebuild the shareholder value, Universal Property Development and Acquisition (Pink Sheets: UPDV) has adopted a three point strategy which includes the following:
1. We have entered into negotiations with an industry partner to operate all of our oil and gas leases in Texas and Kansas. This partner will advise us on the best approach to a proposed Barnett Shale drilling program in North Texas and undertake operation of existing wells in order to improve maintenance and increase production. These actions will reduce operating costs, increase revenues and efficiency and release key capital for application to operating costs or fund new growth.
2. We are taking steps to reduce our debt by selling businesses and assets that are capital intensive and generate little to the bottom line. Recently, our crude hauling and purchasing business received a proposal to sell the trucking side of the business while maintaining the crude purchasing operations. Our Exploration and Production unit also received an offer to farm out the deep rights in North Texas which included an up-front payment and revenue sharing from new wells and a proposal for a new drilling program in our coalbed methane fields in Kansas. We have also been approached by parties interested in the acquisition of the petroleum storage facilities in Brownsville. These divestments may yield $5-$10 million, which will be used to reduce the long term debt of the company.
3. We have been exploring possibilities with other reporting companies, including companies in our business sector, focused on joint opportunities to return UPDA to fully reporting status.
This three point strategy will result in increased revenues, decreased costs, the elimination of long term debt and a return to transparent business operations.

Die neue Kaufvertrag ist mit Shell Trading (USA), ist mit Wirkung zum 1. Juli 2009 und wird größer und die Margen weiter zu verbessern upda Wettbewerbsfähigkeit.

ich war anfänglich (vor den push durch ti) von der aktie überzeugt und wurde dabei gewaltig über den tisch gezogen.
ich habe seit langem (nicht mit start der finanzkrise (für mich ist das eine finanzkrise und die wirtschaftskrise ergibt sich daraus)sondern früher) nur mehr aktien die leichen sind
ich denke updv kann nur durch eine übertreibung nach oben getrieben werden. falls sie steigt wird es schwer den richtigen zeitpunkt zum aussteigen zu erwischen.
