YTC Resources geophysics results point to 1.2km mineral system at Nymagee Copper Project
Tuesday, May 10, 2011  YTC Resources (ASX: YTC) has completed a number of geophysics programs at the Nymagee Copper Project with results indicating a very large mineral system which has only been partially tested by the company.

The different geophysical methods provide YTC with a powerful tool in targeting the next round of exploration at Nymagee.

YTC has now completed detailed infill and extension of the Nymagee gravity survey, downhole electro magnetic (DHEM) on a number of selected diamond holes, and 3D interpretation of existing (2005) detailed Induced Polarisation (IP) data.

The results provide a number of new exploration targets as well as assist with the understanding of the Nymagee mineral system.

The gravity survey now describes the Nymagee mineral system over 1.2km in strike with additional gravity-high target zones identified.

The detailed IP has defined a shallow, low-resistivity target which is interpreted to represent in part the recently discovered shallow copper sulphide mineralisation while the DHEM confirms the presence of numerous conductive zones in the footwall and main lode positions at Nymagee.

On May 6 YTC reported reverse circulation (RC) drilling intersected strong, shallow copper sulphide mineralisation at the southern end of the Nymagee Copper Mine.

The results indicate excellent potential for the establishment of open-pit copper operations at both the northern and southern ends of the mine as the first stage of a mining development at Nymagee.

Significantly, the Nymagee copper deposit remains open to the north, south and at depth and has the potential to be mined and treated under an expanded development scenario in conjunction with the company’s Hera Project, located only 4.5kms to the south.

Nymagee resembles a “Cobar Style” deposit and is similar to the world-class CSA copper deposit.

The company is now seeking permitting approval for detailed drill testing of shallow copper mineralisation at both the southern and northern ends of the mine.

The drilling will allow for the estimation of a shallow copper resource at Nymagee in combination with a deeper, higher-grade underground resource.

YTC Resources hits highest grades yet in western zone of Nymagee Copper Mine
Monday, May 30, 2011

YTC Resources (ASX: YTC) has intersected the highest grades and broadest intervals yet in the western lead-zinc-silver lens at Nymagee Copper Mine, indicating the zone will form a major part of the Nymagee discovery.

The lens lies on about 10-15 metres west of the Nymagee Main Lode and appears strongly developed in the upper 350m of the Nymagee copper deposit.

Hole NMD031 intersected 17m at 3.1% copper (Cu), 0.1% lead (Pb), 7.2% zinc (Zn), 14g/t silver (Ag) and 0.15 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 217m.

The hole was drilled from west to east to test the grade and tenor of the remnant Nymagee Mine Pillars. On the way to target depth, it intersected a broad, high-grade zone of mineralisation in the western lead-zinc lens.

YTC said the first part of the interval intersected a distinct copper-zinc zone hosting high-grade copper mineralisation, previously unrecognised in the western lode.

The second part of the intersection encountered a zone of very high-grade lead-zinc-silver mineralisation, including 9m at 0.7% Cu, 7.0% Pb, 13.1% Zn and 51g/t Ag from 234m.

The company also said the hole continued to intersect the remnant pillar as high-grade mineralisation in the Nymagee Main Lode, recording 3m at 3.4% Cu, 1.8% Pb, 1.9% Zn and 23g/t Ag from 278m.

YTC is now bullish that the western lead-zinc-silver lens now forms a significant target in its own right.

Rimas Kairaitis, YTC's CEO, said “not only have we not observed these copper grades in the western lens before, the grades and widths of the intersection are unprecedented. The western lens now looks like it will form a major part of the unfolding Nymagee discovery.”

YTC said the lens has potential to "contribute substantial high grade tonnages at Nymagee in addition to the open ended, high-grade underground copper zones in the Main, Royal and Club House lodes as well as the recently discovered shallow sulphide copper mineralisation."

Strong lead-zinc mineralisation has been observed in other east directed drill holes from the pillar drilling program and results for these holes are pending.

The Nymagee deposit has the potential to be mined and treated under an expanded development scenario in conjunction with the company’s Hera Project, located only 4.5kms to the south. Nymagee resembles a “Cobar Style” deposit and is similar to the world-class CSA copper deposit.

On May 26 YTC announced strong exploration results from the Hera Gold and Base Metals Project. An updated mineral resource estimate for Hera is now being finalised as part of the expanded Definitive Feasibility Study assessing the development of the Hera Deposit, in combination with the high grade Nymagee Copper Deposit (YTC: 90%).

YTC Resources: Hartleys places $0.88 price target, rated "Speculative Buy"
Monday, June 06, 2011 by Proactive Investors

Hartleys Research have penned a new broker report on YTC Resources (ASX: YTC) and have placed a $0.88 share price target, rating the stock a "Speculative Buy". Below is an extract of the report.

Company Data

Share Price: $0.57
Valuation: $0.80
Price Target: $0.88
Issue Capital: 248.2 million
- fully diluted: 253.6 million
Market Capitalisation: $141.5 million
- fully diluted: $144.6 million
Cash: $33 million
EV: $108.5 million

Hera Resource Update Adds to Mine Life

YTC Resources has released an updated JORC compliant resource estimate for its 100% owned Hera Project, located 100km southeast of Cobar, NSW.

The updated resource is 2.44 million tonnes (Mt) at 8.6 grams per tonne (g/t) gold Eq for 677 thousand ounces (koz) gold Eq, which is up 21% from 2.2Mt at 8.0g/t gold Eq (561koz AuEq).

86% of the resource estimate is now in the Indicated category, which will enable the calculation of reserves.

Assuming a high conversion of the Indicated resource to reserves and a 350ktpa processing capability, a mine life of over 6 years can be implied, an increase of 1.5 years on the previous resource release (of similar
assumptions).

The Hera deposit remains open at depth, and along strike to the north and south, indicating good potential for future upgrades.

The latest resource estimate does not include some additional mineralised lenses that were encountered during the latest drilling, and it is expected that these will be modelled and incorporated into future updates. This updated resource will be used in the expanded definitive feasibility study (DFS), which is now being finalised.

Increase in contained tonnes and slight grade improvements

The updated resource follows a substantial round of drilling designed to increase the confidence in the resource category (moving Inferred to Indicated).

The Indicated resource has had a 33% increase in tonnes with the gold grade slightly improved to 4.1g/t calculated using a “net recoverable ore value per tonne” (NSR) methodology using a $125/t cut off.

This means that if the amount of mineralisation contained within 1 tonne of ore is greater than $125, it is included in the resource.

Valuation Update with Price Target of 88cps

We have increased our valuation for YTC to 80cps. The valuation has improved through the increase in mine life at Hera via the updated resource estimate whereby additional tonnes at slightly improved grade have been added to the model. We use a mining dilution factor of 15%, which is considered conservative for the ore body.

Our 12-month Price Target for the Company is 88cps. The Price Target is heavily weighted towards our Base Case NPV12 valuation for Hera and Nymagee but includes a risk weighted composite of valuation at spot and potential upside in the Nymagee deposit, which is evolving into a CSA-style deposit.

We continue to recommend YTC Resources Limited as a Speculative Buy

YTC Resources hits bonanza lead zinc silver in western lens at Nymagee
Tuesday, June 14, 2011 by John Phillips

YTC Resources (ASX: YTC) continues to deliver strong exploration results from the 90% owned Nymagee Copper Project, with the latest hole intersecting bonanza grade massive sulphides.

The intersection in the western lead-zinc lens included (NMD032); 5 metres at 17.1% lead, 24.0% zinc, 265 grams per tonne (g/t) silver and 0.16g/t gold from 81 metres.

The western lead-zinc-silver lens is located around 10 metres to 15 metres west of the Nymagee Main Lode, which YTC Resources said appears to be strongly developed in the upper 350 metre range.

The results boost the potential that the western lead-zinc-silver lens has the potential to contribute substantial high grade tonnes to the combined development of the Hera and Nymagee deposits.

In addition to the open ended high grade copper zones in the Main, Royal and Club House lodes, as well as the recently discovered shallow sulphide copper mineralisation.

Rimas Kairaitis commented on the strong results, by saying, “These are further outstanding results, the lead-zinc-silver grades observed in hole NMD032 are unprecedented for Nymagee, and the results from hole NMD027W1 have extended the Nymagee Main Lode to the south.

"We believe the structure at the southern end of the Nymagee Lode is favourable to a significant grade increase in this area and look forward to further results from here."

The highlight from NMD027W1 was; 15 metres at 2.5% copper, 0.8% lead, 2.5% zinc, 21g/t silver and 0.1g/t gold from 296 metres
