http://www.rohstoff-investingnews.de/graphit/...-china-restriktionen/
"This move by MIIT is the latest attempt by China’s government to tighten its control over the country’s sprawling resource sector.
Earlier this month, the ministry imposed minimum production thresholds for the country’s rare earths mining industry. The effect of these measures was to remove 20% of production capacity from the rare earths market. With supplies of natural graphite from China already declining, these conditions could impact the supply situation still further."

Mal gucken, was heute Nacht bei Syrah abgeht! War ja gestern Trading Halt!
Allen noch nen schönen Tag ;)

Cheap Graphene From Waste
The next year – this year – the British government announced it would spend £38m to establish a Geim/Novoselov-centric National Graphene Institute at Manchester University, aimed at taking this research through to commercial success. But there is a big problem. Even tiny amounts of graphene still cost far more than industry can dream of affording. One of the biggest drawback to our new carbon age is its cost. Currently producing graphene is not only difficult but costly. “Chemical vapor and solid deposition methods have been developed...

Amother Graphene Horse Enters The Paddock
Thursday, August 30, 2012
'Nobody knows yet which horse will win the race as there are a few proposals for graphene-based electronic devices,' says Antonio Castro Neto, a graphene expert at the National University of Singapore. 'This is a very promising one. It proves what we have been saying for quite sometime, namely that graphene alone will have limited impact in electronics but when it is combined with other two-dimensional crystals, such as BN, the possibilities are only limited by our own imagination..'

Typischer 'Sell on good news' bei SYR.
in Kanada! Derweil laufen 110 Projekte verschiedener Unternehmen in Sachen Graphite...

Superhydrophobic Graphene Foams
Tuesday, September 04, 2012
In everyday English that’s extreme water repellent graphene foams. We’ve reported before on graphene foams and their uses in water remediation and in ultra-sensitive, trace explosives detection, now scientists at the Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science in China, and at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York, have come up with a new way to create a Teflon coated, superhydrophobic graphene foam with tremendous potential when used as a film of integrated foam-like network of graphene sheets..

Vorbildlich!
