Europe’s First Commercial Battery-Storage Unit Starts in Germany

Wemag AG, a northern German utility, opened what it says is Europe’s first commercial battery plant to store power from erratic sources such as wind and solar.

“The first commercially operating battery storage plant of this size is an important step to realize the German energy switch,” Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel, who was present at the opening, said in the statement. ....  

Batteries can play an important role in helping the US realise a clean, affordable electricity future powered largely by distributed renewables. But forecasted declines in the cost of lithium-ion cells won’t be enough. Just as with solar, batteries’ balance-of-system costs – permitting, interconnection, inverter/converter costs, installation labour, safety testing, battery enclosure, power electronics, etc – will be an important enabler of greater, faster adoption.

Sauberer Strom aus Wind und Sonne ist wetterabhängig und fließt nicht regelmäßig - deshalb wird an großen Speichern gearbeitet. Das ist die Zukunft! Nicht nur in der USA oder in Europa! Sondern weltweit! Und unsere kleine Solar3D ist von Anfang an mit dabei!  

Das sehe ich ähnlich, da beschäftigen wir uns gerade noch mit optimierten Si-Zellen und Solar3D setzt zum nächsten Paukenschlag an. Batteriespeicher für Solarzellen, d.h. ein potenziell riesiger Markt. Sunworks ist ohnehin fortschrittlich, bieten Finanzierung (Leasing) für Solarinst. an und nun Energiespeichersysteme, fantastisch. Passt auch ganz gut zum 3x so großen geordeten Hauptgebäude (Expansion in den Süden von Kalifornien). Interessant ist dabei, das dieses implementierte Batteriespeichersystem bei dem 3MW Deal (Erlös ca. 9 Mio $) eingebaut wurde, vllt. wurden auch test- und teilweise die neuen Solar3D-Solarzellen angebracht.

Überings plant Musk mit Tesla seine Gigafactory (Batteriesysteme für die elek. Fahrzeuge, 5 Milliarden $ Kosten) in Reno, Nevada. Ist nicht weit weg von Solar3D in Roseville, sieht nach einer guten Nachbarschaft aus, natürlich spekulativ von mir gesehen ;)

Nun wird also noch ein Umsatzbringer auf den Weg gebracht. Meine Güte, viele potenzielle unveröffentliche Kurstreiber,z.B. eine neue Akquisition, techn. PR der Solar3D Solarzelle, der erwartete Vertriebspartner bzw. die Patentbestätigung.

Und in 2 Wochen ist Quartalsende, letztes Jahr kam die am 12. November also gut 1 1/2 Monate später, die Q2 Zahlen waren am 23. Juli veröffentlicht, also nach 3 1/2 Wochen. Ich setze daher auf eine Mischkalk. und gehe daher vom 3. November aus ;). Da Jim Nelson unser Solar3D CEO, ca. 3 Monate benötigt um die Solarzelle auf den Markt loszulassen, zzgl. der obigen Quartalszahlen (wie bereits erwähnt rechne ich mit ca. 15 Mio. $) müsste das ein heißer Oktober werden.

Ich passe nunmehr den Gesamtumsatz von "einst" erwarteten 10 Mio. $ auf 30 Mio. und mehr $ für 2014 an und korrigiere mich auch mit dem Kursziel auf 1,20 $ ohne Vertriebspartner. Mit Vertriebspartner, hierbei verweise ich auf PLUG, landen wir wohl bei min. 2 $

Recycling Industries has been a fixture within the Sacramento region

of SUNworks to install the largest solar project for a recycling
company in the Sacramento region. RI expects the new SUNworks
installed solar array to offset 80% of the power at its 155,000
square foot Watt Avenue recycling facility, increasing electrical
efficiency and greatly reducing costs.

Zum Nasdaq-Listing ist ein Mindestpreis der Aktie 1 Dollar. Wir stehen bei 0,148 USD.
Gekommen sind wir von 0,05 USD. Bei einer Verdreifachung stehen wir bei ca. 0,45 USD.
Dann fehlt nicht mehr fiel und wir sind an der Nasdaq! Vielleicht schon bei der nächsten Übernahme. Für dieses Jahr wurde ja noch so einiges angekündigt... bin gespannt!

Zusätzlicher Anheizer: bei diesem Project "Recycling Industries" wurden 400 kW verbaut, auf der Sunworks-Webseite ist jedoch "nur" von 346kW die Rede:

Im Amiforum wird von den übrigen 54kW von unseren 3D-Solarzellen als Testreihe spekuliert, ist nen heißes Eisen aber nicht unwahrscheinlich.

Freu mich jedenfalls über die Entwicklung, bin bei 0,09 $ drin und der Oktober wird garantiert nicht unspektakulärer ;)

The Rockefeller Brothers Fund is joining a coalition of philanthropists pledging to rid themselves of more than $50 bn (£31 bn) in fossil fuel assets.

Eine Gemeinschaft von 650 Investoren und 180 Institutionen hat beschlossen, insgesamt 50 Milliarden Dollar umzuschichten: Raus aus fossilen Brennstoffen (Öl), rein in regenerative Energie.

Das ist auch der Grund, wieso der Ölpreis zur Zeit so stark sinkt!
Und es ist der Grund, wieso Solar- und Windenergie gerade so stark steigen.

Der Solar-Boom beginnt gerade erst. Wir stehen vor einer gigantischen Umwälzung. Weg von der abhängigkeit Ölreicher Staaten - hin zu unabhängigen Solarenergie. Die Sonne scheint immer! Es wird noch gigantische Investitionen in den Solarsektor geben, vor allem in USA, China und Indien.

Bei uns hier ist das Thema gegessen, kein Wunder bei dem schlechten Wetter :-)
