SANDY, UT -- (Marketwire) -- 05/17/11 -- SecureAlert, Inc. (OTCBB: SCRA), a leading international provider of patented, wireless electronic monitoring systems and services to public safety agencies, reported record quarterly revenues for the three months ended March 31, 2011. SecureAlert's revenues grew to $3,889,031 for its second fiscal quarter of 2011 compared to $3,006,288 for the same reporting period in 2010, an increase of $882,743 or 29%.
SecureAlert continues to post record revenues which are accompanied by a strong quarterly gross profit margin of 45% for the March 31, 2011 quarter, up from 44% for the March 31, 2010 quarter. Importantly, the Company's gross profit increased to $1,752,426 for the March 31, 2011 quarter, up from $1,311,899 for the same reporting period of 2010, an increase of 34%.
The Company's international initiatives slightly increased the loss from operations to $2,171,219 for the March 31, 2011 quarter, up from $2,031,607 for the March 31, 2010 quarter, or $139,612. However, net loss improved by $990,866 to $2,514,567 for the March 31, 2011 quarter, down from $3,505,433 in the March 31, 2010 quarter.

Also seit (wann eigentlich?) wird diese Aktie mit immer neuen Supermeldungen beworben. Aber der Kurs geht fast immer gegen Süden. Wen interessieren schon die paar Fußfesseln.

(OTCBB: SCRA), a leading international provider of patented, wireless electronic monitoring systems and services to public safety agencies, reported today the signing of 48 new domestic and international contracts, as well as a paradigm shift and changes in management.
Between April 1, 2011 and June 30, 2011, the Company received minimum orders for an incremental 5,060 of the Company's ReliAlert™ tracking devices to be delivered over the next six months, which could increase to up to 10,120 units at maturity. These orders for tracking devices, monitoring and other advisory services represent a minimum of approximately $8,100,000 in incremental revenue growth through the end of calendar 2011, with a full impact of approximately $23,300,000 in revenue for calendar 2012.
To support this new business and anticipated global growth, the Company also announced that it had secured a commitment for an additional $13,500,000 in capital through a combination of both equity and credit line facilities.
The Company also announced management changes effective June 30, 2011. SecureAlert's founder and long time supporter, CEO and Chairman, David Derrick, has stepped down to pursue other business interests. "I feel that we have taken SecureAlert to the threshold of strength and stability," stated Mr. Derrick. "It is now time for others with the appropriate skills and talent to take SecureAlert to the next level.
