Er ist der Richtige!
Grenoble, France, May 27, 2015: The two-day 17th annual LetiDays Grenoblestarting June 24 will have 40 conferences and exhibitions to “expand” the conversation around the Internet of Things-augmented mobility.
The premier research institute said in a written statement that IoT based augmented mobility was revolutionising the way people interacted with appliances, infrastructure and countless daily life objects. CEA-Leti played an important role in the development of the IoT as a provider of key underlying technologies that helped its partners take advantage of the opportunities. These technologies included new sensors, energy-harvesting systems, ultra-low-power communication technologies and ultra-low-power digital processors.
Another conference theme includes the IoT and broader markets is Leti’s breakthroughs in silicon technologies, sensors, telecommunications, power management in wearable systems, health applications, transportation and cities of the future.
Speakers include:
· Leti CEO Marie-Noëlle Semeria
· Suresh Venkatesan, SVP technology development, GLOBALFOUNDRIES
· Jean-Pierre Cojan, Director, Strategy and Transformation, Safran and
· Christophe Fourtet, Chief Science Officer and co-founder, SIGFOX.
The keynote address shall be by Prof. Alim Louis Benabid, eminent neurosurgeon and board Chairman of the Edmond J. Safra Biomedical Research Center Clinatec on the Minatec campus in Grenoble.
Leti also will host technology workshops during the week of June 22:
· June 22, Workshop IRT/C2MI Paradigms for 3D
· June 22-23, D43D: 8th Workshop on Design for 3D Silicon Integration
· June 22-23, LetiWorkshop FDSOICE
· June 26, LetiWorkshop Memory
· June 26, LetiWorkshop Lighting

Suresh Venkatesan nimmt als CEO von POET teil!
Da wir den Ceo von Alfalight jetzt mit an Bord haben, hier ein recht neuer Artikel zu möglicherweise baldigen Produkten, powered by poet.

Maaszijde you have been very busy on this forum this morning telling everyone the way it is. Sometimes it is more important to listen rather than being so outspoken. Often you hear/learn more that way.
If you had done your due diligence you would have known that Mike White has used ARM Holdings as the model for POET in terms of licensing technology to the semiconductor industry. When Mike spoke of this at the CIC the P/E for ARM was 81.
I hope that you would be aware that the use of P/E has significant flaws when attempting to provide a measurement of value comparison.
For example Linkedin: has had P/E's over 1000 and I recall the average P/E for that company being around 700. P/E is a measure of price to earnings ratio. As soon as Linkedin's EPS dropped to a negative number so does the P/E.
The fundamental thing to recognize is that companies with very large potential like POET will go up based on deals with large companies. For example if POET announced a deal with say Apple that indicated that Apple was planning to use the first POET chips available for market there would probably be a significant financial upfront payment? The share price would likely move into the 1000 range (or more) similar to what linkedin did. The P/E ratio at that moment in time would be meaningless.
222,270,000 | share O/S |
$25,000,000 | first contract |
$0.11 | EPS |
80 | PE |
$2,000,000,000 | Market Cap |
$9.00 | price per share |
But if the market begins to anticipate just how large the market is for POET in just smart phone and begins to apply numbers generated by investment bankers they could start seeing numbers like this.
Global smartphone sales in 2014 were 1.2 billion units. In the first quarter of 2015 smart phone sales have increased by 20%.
2014 worldwide smartphone sales | value creation per unit | per-unit royalty | revenue |
1,200,000,000 | $78.96 | 0.0817 | $7,741,238,400 |
If the market anticipated that POET was capable of capturing just 1% of this market in 2016 this is what the share price might look like.
222,270,000 | share O/S |
$774,123,840 | 1% of smart phone market |
$3.48 | EPS |
80 | PE |
$61,929,907,200 | Market Cap |
$278.62 | price per share |
Time to get back outside. I see we are having a little bit of profit taking by the penny flippers. Not to worry.
Have a good day people.

good times ahead.
