Daily Commentary
Our system posted a BUY CONFIRMED today. The previous SELL recommendation that was confirmed was made on 11.24.2004 (16) days ago, when the stock price was 0.1600. Since then NEOM has gained 3.75% .
Were you eager to go long? Well, without doubt, it was the right time to do so. The BUY signal was finally confirmed, and most probably you have called your broker and placed your long orders with no hesitation.
Don't worry if you have missed this buying opportunity. The market may now give you a second chance. You may still find good prices for buying in the next session.

IMO

Anywhere, Anytime Access to Brands via Cell Phones and Mobile Wireless Devices
FT. MYERS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 13, 2004-- NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: NEOM - News), today introduced PaperClick® Mobile Marketing Services, giving global marketers and advertising agencies the tools and support to have one-on-one contact with consumers through cell phones and other mobile wireless devices
NeoMedia's new services empower brand managers and agencies with anywhere, anytime access to consumers, letting them impact the purchase decision when that decision is being made. PaperClick Mobile Marketing Services delivers real-time promotional content, which can be easily updated and changed by marketers, while giving on-the-go consumers one-click e-commerce buying power.
"Marketers and agencies told us they needed to leverage the power of their brands using wireless devices," said Charles T. Jensen, president, CEO and COO of NeoMedia. "PaperClick can use cell phones and PDA's to deliver promotions, sales assistance, product info, purchase options, and more, directly to consumers more cost-effectively than conventional direct-to-consumer methods. Marketers can communicate with consumers, either in retail outlets, at home, or anywhere. And, in addition, marketers can track the effectiveness of product launches, ad campaigns, brochures and posters with real-time monitoring."
Marketer-to-Consumer in One-Click
The latest addition to the Mobile Marketing Services suite lets users of a wide range of already-in-use camera phones "take pictures" of special created codes on packages and promotional items and connect in one-click to marketing information. First available for popular Nokia® Series 60 mobile phones, the new capability complements the launch of the PaperClick Mobile Go-Window(TM) this summer and PaperClick for Camera Cell Phones(TM) late last year.
"Only NeoMedia can immediately offer global marketers the complete range of services provided by the PaperClick Mobile Marketing suite," said Mr. Jensen.
Covering the Mobile Marketing Bases
With the use of in-the-market phones, PaperClick Mobile Marketing Services covers the mobile marketing bases.
The patented PaperClick technology range of applications for marketers includes:
Word Activation, with marketers registering brand names or tag lines in the PaperClick WordRegistry(TM) created by NeoMedia and Fortune® 500 innovator SAIC, originator of Internet domain name registration, and the official repository for PaperClick words. Registered words or tag lines can be entered in the PaperClick Mobile Go-Window, a horizontal text-entry bar on the screen of a wireless device, to link to content from marketers. The Go-Window runs on Windows Mobile®, Palm® and Java MIDP 2.0 (Mobile Independent Device Profile)-based devices including smart phones, the Palm Tungsten C PDA, the Handspring(TM) Treo 600, and others.
Created Code Activation, with two-dimensional codes created and placed on packaging, literature, ads, posters, etc., provides a one-click link to marketers' content via popular SymbianOS(TM)-based devices, such as Nokia Series 60 mobile phones;
Existing Code Activation, with the ability to use a SymbianOS-based camera phone to "take a picture" of already-in-the-market UPC, EAN, JAN and ISBN codes to link to content from marketers.
Delivering a Highly-Desirable Audience
"Now, NeoMedia has electronically bridged the gap from marketer to consumer with PaperClick Mobile Marketing Services,," said Mr. Jensen.
PaperClick Mobile Marketing Services were designed to deliver a highly-desirable audience . . . the widely-reported demographic of more than a half-billion mobile service subscribers in the U.S. and Europe, 40% of whom have Internet access.
"Right now, NeoMedia can deliver this target audience by electronically bridging the gap between marketer and user via the popular wireless devices in use," Mr. Jensen said
How PaperClick Works
The patented PaperClick platform from NeoMedia links a unique identifier, such as a barcode or a word to a specific URL (Web page) in a five-step process:
Step 1 - Activation - A barcode or word is registered and activated by a product manufacturer;
Step 2 - A PaperClick-enabled device retrieves the code or word;
Step 3 - The device's Web browser is automatically launched and connects to a designated server;
Step 4 - The server retrieves the specific Web page based on the barcode or word;
Step 5 - The Web page is downloaded to the device's screen.
A wide range of "back office" software and services is also available from NeoMedia.
Available to Wireless Carriers and Manufacturers
The PaperClick family of mobile marketing services is immediately available for purchase by wireless carriers and manufacturers of Internet-capable cell phones, smartphones, PDA's and other wireless devices, and for demonstration to IT and wireless industry research analysts and potential partners
