Drill Hole CAR-008 Continues to Expand the Gold System at Carlin
Over 800 Meters Between CAR-002 and CAR-008

June 30, 2010, Vancouver, British Columbia: Evolving Gold Corp. (TSXV: EVG) (FSE: EV7) (the “Company”) confirms that drill hole CAR-008 has intersected anomalous gold mineralization over 800 meters (2,600 feet) distant from its first hole, CAR-002, at its Carlin project in the south Carlin Trend in Nevada.  The highly anomalous gold mineralization in CAR-008, along with visual arsenic and antimony mineralization, continues to expand the size of this gold bearing hydrothermal system.

   * Drill hole CAR-008, offset approximately 205 meters (670 feet) NW from hole CAR-007, intersected gold mineralization in favorable stratigraphic units. As previously reported, CAR-007 intersected 18.3 meters averaging 11.7 gpt Au (60.0 feet at 0.340 opt Au).

   * The gold anomalous zones in CAR-008 correlate with mineralization previously intersected in drill holes CAR-002 and CAR-007. The zone of gold mineralization now extends for over 800 meters (2,600 feet) between CAR-002 and CAR-008.

   * Anomalous gold intervals are present between 633 and 1,198 meters down hole in CAR-008, or a distance 565 meters (1,853 feet) down hole.

   * The anomalous gold, up to 2.09 gpt Au (0.061 opt Au), at 631-650 meters (2,070-2,130 feet) correlates with the interpreted lower Webb Formation, host to the Rain mine mineralization and similar zones in holes CAR-002 and CAR-007. Anomalous gold, up to 4.21 gpt Au (0.123 opt Au), from 1,164 meters (3,820 feet) to the bottom of the hole at 1,198 meters (3,930 feet), also correlates with similar zones near the bottom of holes CAR-002 and CAR-007, in what is interpreted to be Popovich Formation.

Quinton Hennigh, President and Chief Geologist comments, “The importance of these results should not be underestimated. Drilling 205 meters away from CAR-007 is a very large offset in the Carlin Trend. The mineralized intervals in CAR-008 continue to demonstrate the size potential of this system. Repeated zones of gold mineralization, accompanied by arsenic and antimony, extend from 633 meters (2,077 feet) down to the bottom of the hole at 1,198 meters (3,930 feet), a down hole distance of 565 meters (1,853 feet). The size potential identified is not a surprise to us, considering the productivity and deposits of the Carlin Trend. With over 800 meters (2,600 feet) between CAR-008 and CAR-002, it is clear that we are drilling in a very large gold system.”

Hole CAR-009, offset approximately 180 m (590 feet) SE from hole CAR-007, was completed on June 22 at a depth of 1,308 m (4,289 feet).  Holes CAR-002, 007, 008 and 009 are located in one target area, all within Section 3, a single square mile south of the town of Carlin. Evolving Gold has secured a land position in the southern Carlin Trend of 56 sections, or approximately 145 square kilometers.

“We have moved the drill from Section 3 to a new target on our 100% controlled land in Section 13 of our Humboldt project, about 2.5 miles (4.0 km) to the southeast,” continues Hennigh. “We have already developed nine new drill targets on our large land position, and we are excited about the discovery potential here in the heart of the Carlin Trend. We will continue drilling on the Carlin and Humboldt projects throughout the summer.”

After the close today, EVG announced drill results.  While I’ve not had a chance to talk to the company, my first take is we now know we”re in the neighborhood of a big system. While it’s strictly smoke today, EVG should have come away from this news with a good sense where to send the fire engines.

die Bohrung CAR-008, die über 800 m (2.600 Fuß) von der ersten Bohrung
CAR-002 entfernt ist, auf erhöhte Goldgehalte (Anomalous Gold
Mineralization) gestoßen ist. Das Carlin-Projekt liegt auf dem südlichen
Carlin-Trend im US-Staat Nevada. Die deutlich erhöhten Goldgehalte von
CAR-008, zusammen mit einer sichtbaren Vererzung mit Arsen und Antimon,
erweitern die bekannte Größe dieses Gold führenden hydrothermalen Systems.

- Bohrung CAR-008, die ca. 205 m (670 Fuß) nordwestlich von Bohrung CAR-007
niedergebracht wurde, stieß auf Goldvererzung in vorteilhaften
stratigrafischen Einheiten. Wie zuvor bekannt gegeben, stieß Bohrung
CAR-007 auf einer Länge von 18,3 Bohrmetern auf durchschnittlich 11,7 Gramm  
pro Tonne Gold (g/t Au) (60,0 Fuß mit 0,340 Feinunzen pro Tonne U/t Au).

- Die Abschnitte mit erhöhten Goldwerten in CAR-008 korrelieren mit der
Vererzung, die zuvor in den Bohrungen CAR-002 und CAR-007 angetroffen
wurde. Der Bereich der Goldvererzung erstreckt sich nun über 800 m (2.600
Fuß) zwischen den Bohrungen CAR-002 und CAR-008.

- Abschnitte mit erhöhten Goldwerten befinden sich zwischen 633 und 1.198
Bohrmeter Tiefe bei Bohrung CAR-008 bzw. in einer Bohrabschnittslänge von
565 m (1.853 Fuß).

- Die erhöhten Goldwerte von bis zu 2,09 g/t Au (0,061 U/t Au) in einer
Tiefe von 631 bis 650 m (2.070 bis 2.130 Fuß) korrelieren mit der
vermuteten tieferen Webb-Gesteinsschicht (Lower Webb-Formation), die die
gleiche Vererzungsschicht der Rain-Mine darstellt, und mit ähnlichen
Abschnitten in den Bohrungen CAR-002 und CAR-007. Erhöhte Goldwerte von bis
zu 4,21 g/t Au (0,123 U/t Au) ab 1.164 Bohrmeter Tiefe (3.820 Fuß) bis zum
Ende der Bohrung in 1.198 Bohrmeter (3.930 Fuß) korrelieren mit ähnlichen
Abschnitten nahe dem Bohrlochende von CAR-002 und CAR-007, die als die
Popovich-Formation interpretiert wird.

Quinton Hennigh, President und leitender Geologe des Unternehmens,

Bohrung CAR-009, die ca. 180 m (590 Fuß) südöstlich von Bohrung CAR-007
niedergebracht wurde, erreichte am 22. Juni das Bohrende bei 1.308 m Tiefe
(4.289 Fuß). Die Bohrungen CAR-002, 007, 008 und 009 befinden sich in einem
Zielgebiet innerhalb von Abschnitt 3 (Section 3) - einer einzelnen
Quadratmeile südlich der Stadt Carlin. Evolving Gold hat sich
Liegenschaften im Umfang von mehr als 56 Sections bzw. ca. 145
Quadratkilometern im südlichen Carlin-Trend gesichert.

´Wir haben das Bohrgerät von Section 3 zu einem neuen Zielgebiet ca. 2,5
Meilen (4,0 km) südöstlich in Section 13, das Teil des sich vollständig in

Vererzung wurde durchgeführt von SGS Canada Inc. in Toronto. Dabei wurden
Probenmengen von 30 g angefertigt, Feuer-Analysen durchgeführt und mit ICP
abgeschlossen.

PG: Well, as I've said before, Evolving Gold Corp. (TSX.V:EVG; Fkft:EV7) is the most perplexing junior I've ever dealt with. Failure is the norm in the junior resource business; for each company that finds a significant deposit and is able to develop or sell it for a handsome profit, nine others don't.


So it's impressive enough when a junior finds one world-class potential deposit. Evolving Gold has managed to find two. Yet the stock has been hammered and beaten up. The company has not done a great job on the corporate communication side in recent months, and it's depressed the price of the stock to a level that doesn't represent the real potential of these two projects.


Either could be world-class and as things look now, both are still moving towards that. Given my prejudices and the fact that 99% of Evolving Gold's peer group would kill to have just one of those projects, I deemed it an extremely undervalued situation and personally bought 1.3 million shares.

Bisher noch gerine Umsätze - sollten die Umsätze in den nächsten Tagen steigen, dann könnte der Kurs rassant nach oben gehen,

....ging es an der TSX nochmal richtig runter. Dabei sah es kurz vor dem Absturz mit 0,80 CAN Dollar noch ganz gut aus. Schlusskurs bei 0,69 CAN Dollar (!!!) bei über 800.000 gehandelter Anteile.

Normal ist das jedenfalls nicht.......  

selbst Werte mit guten Nachrichten gestern im Minus und die letzten Tage.

Typisch über die Sommermonate, ich bin gestern raus, ich warte auf die nächsten Nachrichten, ohne fundamental
sehr gute Nachrichten sehe ich noch kein Boden, nicht nur bei EVG.  

hoffe für euch das es gute Nachrichten sind.  

Jetzt wissen wir zum einen wer den Aktienpreis von Evolving die ganze Zeit gedrückt hat. Zum anderen ist es eine super Story wenn Goldcorp so viel kauft. Ich denke, die haben einen Anstieg von 50 % schon einkalkuliert. Man investiert keine so vielen Millionen, wenn man nicht sicher ist. Jetzt werden bald auch die positiven Meldungen bezüglich Ressourcenschätzung kommen.

a statutory four month hold period from the closing of the transaction, and

....Handelstag an der TSX. Erst brach der Kurs kurzzeitig um weitere 12% ein (0,61 CAN Dollar) um dann zum Schluss mit über 2 Mio gehandelten Anteilen mit 0,86 CAN Dollar aus dem Handel zu gehen.

Bin echt auf den morgigen Tag gespannt.....der Goldpreis spielt auch wieder mit, er ist heute über die psychologische Marke von 1200 US-Dollar je Feinunze geklettert.  

"Goldcorp Inc." ist ja ein richtiger Big Player im Goldgeschäft. Die Firma hat eine Marktkapitalisierung von über
23 Mrd Euro (!!!!!) Vor diesem Hintergrund kann man die Beteiligung an EVG nur positiv sehen.....  

ist vor allem an keinerlei Bedingungen geknüpft, einfach eine rein finanzielle strategische Beteiligung.

Grandich Client Update – Evolving Gold, Back to Evolving Versus Dissolving

In my humble but highly biased position, most if not all the baggage that was being carried by EVG for its past corporate communications missteps were discharged today by the news of Goldcorp becoming a significant shareholder. The belief that this company had not one but two potential world class deposits but was being priced as if they were the gang that couldn’t shoot straight, has now received one heck of an endorsement on the project side of things by this news.

Perhaps because many of us were feeling like we were being slowly tortured by the slow but steady decline in shareholder value, we lost sight at times of how good the company did to get to this point projects-wise. Whatever we were thinking received a jolt of renewed confidence in this news.

But the news should not be so surprising since when Tookie Angus arrived on the scene I noted management skills jumped ten-fold. I haven’t spoken to management and even if I did I may not know for sure, but I’d bet a pretty bundle Tookie’s hands are all over this deal. And what a deal it is. No earn-in interest, no lost of exploration control and no sweetener’s like warrants and the like.

A new day has dawned at EVG and this EVG major shareholder feels born again!

Fast alle Aktien, bei denen Goldcorp eingestiegen ist, haben nach dem Einstieg eine rasante Fahrt nach oben angetreten. Ich denke 0,85 CAD ist nun der Boden erreicht. Der Kurs könnte allerdings steil nach oben gehen, wenn die Ressourcenschätzung sowie weitere Bohrergebnisse kommen. Meint ihr Goldcorp läßt sich wirklich überraschen wie die Ergebnisse ausfallen werden :-)

Sensationelle Neuigkeiten gab es gestern Abend von unserem Goldexplorer Evolving Gold (WKN A0MVLE): Nachdem bekannt wurde, dass sich der Goldgigant Goldcorp – Marktkapitalisierung 31,9 Mrd. CAD – an Evolving beteiligt, schoss die Aktie in Kanada um rund 25 Prozent nach oben! Bei einem Handelsvolumen von mehr als 2 Millionen Aktien!



Auf dem Rattlesnake-Projekt von Evolving Gold
Im Detail erwirbt Goldcorp (WKN 890493) über eine Privatplaatzierung 19,047 Millionen Aktien von Evolving Gold und zahlt dabei 0,82 kanadische Dollar je Aktie. Damit werden Evolving, die ohnehin über Barmittel von rund 16 Mio. CAD verfügt, weitere 15,619 Millionen Dollar in die Kassen gespült.

Damit ist die Firma von CEO Rob Barker nun bestens ausgestattet, die Erkundung ihrer wichtigsten Goldprojekte in Wyoming (Rattlesnake Hills) und Nevada (Carlin und Humboldt) noch aggressiver und umfassender anzugehen. Evolvings Projekte werden bereits als potenziell großflächige Goldsysteme angesehen – entsprechend der Strategie von Evolving, sich auf die Exploration großer Vererzungssysteme zu konzentrieren.

Die Beteiligung eines der absoluten Giganten der Goldminenbranche an einem Junior-Explorer wie Evolving Gold – die von Goldcorp erworbenen Aktien entsprechen rund 15% der Evolving-Papiere – stellt in unseren Augen einen enormen Vertrauensbeweis für Evolving dar. There have been several large companies interested in the Carlin project. Looks like one decided to take a stake. Goldcorp has been a very savy investor in and acquirer of other companies. EVG now has additional credibility and cash to persue Rattlesnake and Carlin/Humboldt, and whatever the expected resources estimate it can't help but to grow with additional drilling. I'm not talking about further exploration, but merely just more infill drilling at the North Stock and Antelope Basin.

Back to Goldcorp. Goldcorp is an exploration and mining company and has a project with Barrick northeast of EVG's Carlin/Humboldt project. Not a bad idea for them to secure an in on what may be one of the last big strikes on the Carlin trend so they can extend the life of whatever mill production they establish for their Dee operation.

It is a detailed read, but if you look for comparisons and have questions ready before reading you may come away a good understanding of EVG's projects and their potential. Note, faults are only one contributor to what makes these deposits some of a largest and richest in the world.  

 

Even the up coming report on the Rattlesnake property is already outdated. More infill holes are needed and are being drilled to just reveal some of the mineralization numbers. So here's some general thoughts on the subject:
The Carlin and Humboldt properties are very early stage. However, because of the type, location, and size and grade of the drill intercepts so far, all the properties can be guessimated to have multi-million ounces potential.
For Carlin and the Humboldt properties grades and mining widths will be very important because of the depth and underground methods that will be needed for mining the prospective deposits. Other underground operations on the Carlin trend have mined grades in the .4-.8 oz per ton range at less cost per ounce than even the open pit mines on the trend.
As for Rattlesnake with its near surface golden halo and deeper high grade zones, a combination of open pit and underground methods seems a reasonable conjecture. EVG hasn't found the bottom of the gold mineralization, yet. This is still an exciting discovery and EVG is just beginning to learn what they have. Hope this helps, but it is just conjecture. You may want to do some comparisons with with other Carlin trend deposits, which are available on the web is you search long enough.
I found an interesting bit recently on the early drilling results at the huge Goldstrike mine. Though somewhat apples and oranges, EVG's early holes were much better. And now with CAR 008 reporting we are seeing good size. Goldstrike, be mindful, was both open pit and underground and basically multiple deposits. If EVG.v has a discovery hole in the area they are now drilling on their Humboldt property, this could be the Nevada find of the decade.
