At Tulu Kapi in Ethiopia, milestones for the remainder of the year as part of the mining licence application for the project include closing the acquisition of the remaining 25% and an independent verification or ore reserves. Meanwhile, at the Jibal Qutman property in Saudi Arabia, where strong drill results have been reported this month, the firm intends to expand the revised plans to the level required by syndicate banks.

During the study reverse circulation infill drilling continued to return strong positive results from the Tulu Kapi license, including results of 9 metres at 4.24 g/t gold, 13 metres at 3.21 g/t gold, 9 metres at 3.31 g/t gold, 15 metres at 2.33 g/t gold, 5 metres at 4.12 g/t gold and 8 metres at 3.94 g/t gold. The company reports that results from the last two trenches dug at Tulu Kapi produced additional intercepts of 15 metres at 1.41 g/t gold, including 4 metres at 3.1 g/t gold.
Reverse circulation drilling at the Guji prospect yielded intercepts of 44 metres at 1.73 g/t gold and 6 metres at 3.98 g/t gold and the best results yielded from the Chalte prospect include 8 metres at 1.91 g/t gold and of 8 metres at 1.88 g/t gold.
Jeff Rayner, Managing Director of KEFI Minerals, commented, "At Tulu Kapi these recent drill hole and trench results continue to confirm the mineralisation as modelled. Independent review of the Resource Model is underway. This milestone will be followed by a new mine plan and JORC-compliant Reserves that are required to reactivate the Mining Licence Application by the end of 2014 and trigger construction in 2015. Further potential is demonstrated for satellite deposits to Tulu Kapi from the drill results at Guji and Chalte prospects."
