PALO ALTO, Calif., April 03, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE:HPE) ("HPE") today announced that it has successfully completed the previously announced separation of its Enterprise Services business (“ES” or “Everett Spinco”), and merged it with Computer Sciences Corporation (“CSC”) to create DXC Technology (“DXC”).

Hewlett Packard Enterprise ( HPE Stock Report ) is another tech stock that is bucking the trend in the stock market. This came after the company reported better than expected financial results for the fourth quarter, ended October 31, 2020. HPE reported revenue near to pre-pandemic levels of $7.2 billion, up 6% from the prior quarter and flat from the prior-year period. The company also raised guidance for the 2021 fiscal year.

Apart from reporting strong fiscal results, the company also announced that it's moving its corporate headquarters to Houston from San Jose, California. That's an unconventional shift for a company with deep roots in the Bay Area. The company joins a list of other tech companies that are moving out of California."....
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company delivered first-quarter fiscal 2021 non-GAAP earnings of 52 cents per share, which surpassed the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 30%. The reported figure also came in higher than the year-ago number of 44 cents.
Revenues of $6.83 billion were down 1.7% from the prior-year quarter. However, the reported figure beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $6.78 billion.
The top line was affected by lower revenues from HPC & MCS businesses. However, strong growth in Intelligent Edge was a positive.
Also, growing traction of its cloud-native Aruba Edge Services platform has benefited the company’s quarterly results.
Further, the annualized revenue run-rate (ARR) was up 27% year over year to $649 million.
