Montréal, Québec, - October 18, 2007 -
Dia Bras Exploration Inc. (DIB-V) is pleased to announce very encouraging drill intercepts in the La Narizona area from its ongoing surface exploration drilling program at the Bolivar property in the State of Chihuahua, Mexico.
New Discovery
At La Narizona, hole DB07B215 intersected the Upper Skarn from 42.7 to 75.2 metres (32.5 metres drill width), and another skarn zone from 144.5 to 148.8 metres. The Upper Skarn intersections average 4.26% Zn, 0.31% Cu, 21.61 g/t Ag and 0.01 g/t Au over an extraordinary 32.5 metres. Within this wide intersection, two higher grade sections occur, including a 7.9 m section averaging 13.14% Zn, 0.78% Cu, and 55.98 g/t Ag. This 7.9 metre section also contains silver and lead, averaging 55.98 g/t Ag, and 0.29 % Pb, with a 0.7 metre sample (48.6 - 49.3 metre core length) assaying 24.4% Zn, 1.29% Cu, 324 g/t Ag and 2% Pb.
The second mineralized intersection in skarn occurs at the level expected of the Lower Skarn, but is significantly different in that it contains very little magnetite and is rich in zinc but poor in copper, averaging some 6.76% Zn, 0.17% Cu and 2.78 g/t Ag over 4.3 m, including a richer 2.1 metre section of 10.65% Zn, 0.28% Cu, 3.7 g/t Ag and 2% Pb.
This mineralization occurs within the sedimentary section between two faults, and mapping and drill data indicate it may have significant dip and strike extent and could represent significant new resources for the Bolivar project (see press release of September 25, 2007).
“This is a very exciting development for our exploration program”, says Francois Auclair, Vice-President of Exploration. “The volume potential for this mineralization is major, and the mineralized corridor is very significant as it demonstrates that the high-grade mineralization present at Bolivar Alta Ley where Dia Bras is conducting its pilot-mining activities extends over a much broader area than previously known. An expanded drilling program is planned in 2008.”

The La Narizona prospect is located within the La Montura - El Val corridor, an area some 2.5 km to the SE of the Alta Ley Bolivar mine. The La Narizona area is situated some 500 metres NW of El Val, in an area of exoskarn that is enclosed within andesite in a highly fractured and faulted block. This block represents the hanging wall of the mineralization that has been uplifted with respect to the footwall andesite. In some publications, this corridor is referred to as the Sauzal-Cieneguita lineament (Goodell P., 2003, internal communication to Dia Bras).
At both ends of this corridor, mineralization was previously intersected by drilling, namely in the La Montura area where a drill hole performed by Dia Bras in 2004 intersected 3 metres at 1.2% Cu, 5.4% Zn, 1 g/t Au and 147 g/t Ag in the Upper Skarn and, more recently, in the El Val area, where hole DB07B209 intersected 6.6 metres of 2.6% Zn in the Upper Skarn, and an additional 2.0 metres at an average grade of 7.7% Zn (reported in press release, September 30, 2007) in the Upper Skarn within a broader mineralized intersection from 89 to 123 metres down hole (34 metres drill width).
Detailed mapping done by Dia Bras in the fall of 2006 revealed Upper Skarn mineralization in the historical La Pequeña, La Narizona and El Val prospects (see press release of December 14, 2006), and prompted the Company to initiate a drilling program in this area in the spring of 2007. A number of logistical problems, including an unusually strong rainy season, delayed drilling until recently.
Dia Bras’ drilling program at El Val-La Narizona is ongoing with one surface high capacity drill rig in operation. As of September 30th, approximately 2,075 metres in 5 drill holes have been completed. Hole DB07B216 is in progress, while results from hole DB07B212 are pending. Hole DB07B194, which was interrupted by technical problems in April, will be completed soon.

Dia Bras Exploration is a Canadian mining exploration company with precious and base metal properties in northern Mexico. The Company is committed to advancing and adding value to its core assets in the renowned Sierra Madre Occidental of north-central Mexico. Dia Bras began evaluating opportunities in Mexico in 2003, and has since raised more than $37 million over a three-year period to acquire, explore and develop high quality properties.
A pilot-mining program at the Bolivar zinc-copper mine project is generating positive cash flow that provides financial stability and funds for ongoing exploration to expand resources and test new targets. The Company acquired in May-June 2006 the entire Cusihuiriachic (Cusi) silver district close to the Malpaso Mill. The Cusi project offers potential for near-term production and will be actively explored and developed in 2006. Both properties are also very prospective with significant potential and havemajor discoveries.
The Company expanded its technical team and also strengthened its management team, which has 124 years of combined technical experience in all aspects of exploration mine development and project financing. This combination of skills and entrepreneurship bodes well for Dia Bras' corporate development and growth.

OVERVIEW
A Fast-Growing Producer of Silver, Copper and Zinc in Northern Mexico
Since 2003, Dia Bras Exploration has focused its exploration and development activities in Mexico, and will continue this strategy in the coming year. The country offers prospective geology, a favorable investment climate, and a mining tradition that pre-dates colonization.
The Company’s projects collectively cover more than 15,000 hectares in the world-famous Sierra Madre mineral belt of northern Mexico. The highly prospective belt hosts a series of historic mining districts that have attracted dozens of foreign companies since Mexico reformed its mining laws in the early 1990s. Several new mines began production in recent years, and many other projects are being advanced to production. Exploration continues, focused on precious and base metals.
During the current financial year, the Company will conduct extensive drilling campaign on the Bolivar property and the Cusihuiriachic district (Cusi Project). These programs consist of geological mapping and drilling from surface on the Bolivar property and the Cusi Properties and underground drilling at the Bolivar property. The objectives are to drill a minimum of 25,000 meters on each project before the end of 2007.
The Company will continue its program of pilot-mining at Bolivar and develop more working faces on deeper levels that are accessed by ramps from first and sixth levels. The Company will continue to ship the Bolivar material to the Malpaso mill by trucks and train at a level of 7,500 tonnes per month. A scoping study on the Bolivar project will be carried out by Scott Wilson Roscoe Postle Associates Inc., independent consulting geologists and mining engineers, by mid-2007.
The mill capacity has been increased to 850 tonnes per day by adding a new independent circuit. This new circuit has been added to treat approximately 500 tonnes per day of mineralized rockcoming from the Cusi Properties where the Company intends to start a pilot-mining program similar to the one started in 2005 at Bolivar.
Scott Wilson RPA completed a technical report in compliance with National Instrument 43-101 on the Cusi property and the report, which was dated December 22, 2006, was delivered to the Company in January 2007.

DIA BRAS: High Silver Values at Cusi
Montréal, Québec, - March 21, 2007 -
Dia Bras Exploration Inc. (DIB-V) ("Dia Bras or the "Company") is pleased to report the results from its ongoing exploration program on the Cusi property, located in the State of Chihuahua, Mexico.
The regional geological mapping program, under the supervision of Dr. André Ciesielski, has revealed the presence of a number of gold-silver veins and breccias not previously reported in the northwestern part of the Cusi property. Three groups of mineralized and brecciated faults have been identified to date, over a minimum surface strike length of 9.2 km, which is in addition to the 80 km of cumulative strike length of veins previously reported.
These newly discovered gold–silver showings, often associated with base metal values, show remarkable grades within structurally and/or hydrothermally controlled breccias, of variable width and size (several centimetres to one metre), usually crosscutting the ignimbrite, and composed of quartz – kaolinite – limonite and manganese oxide. Some of the best results from grab samples include 1.97 g/t Au and 568 g/t Ag, 0.8 g/t Au and 917 g/t Ag in the San Nicolas area and 1.2 g/t Au and 2.503 kg/t Ag in the La Gloria area (see Figure 1 and Table 1).
Following reception of these assays, a channel chip sampling program of some of the accessible historic underground workings of the vertical shaft Tiro San Nicolas was initiated, and impressive results have been received, such as: 57.4 g/t Au 1.960 kg/t Ag and 2.6% Pb, 0.086 g/t Au, 1.425 kg/t Ag and 0.28% Pb (see Table 2 and Figure 2).
Because of the high gold content reported in sample DC07AC612-B, the sample has been re-assayed and returned 58.3 g/t Au.
Other prospects of the Cusi Project area, such as the historic Promontorio Mine, also show high silver values in grab samples, such as 2.2 kg/t Ag from a brecciated zone from the drift.
These results are very encouraging in light of the 25,000-metre diamond drilling program underway, and a drill rig will be mobilized early next month to this area (see press release, March 1, 2007).

DIA BRAS: 2006 EXPLORATION RESULTS AND 2007 EXPLORATION PROGRAM ON THE CUSI SILVER PROPERTY
Montréal, Québec, - March 1, 2007 -
Dia Bras Exploration Inc. (DIB-V) ("Dia Bras or the "Company") is pleased to report on the results of its 2006 exploration activities at the Cusi property, located in the State of Chihuahua, Mexico, as well as on its 2007 exploration program. We have made rapid progress and we anticipate discovering a major deposit.
Dia Bras acquired the Cusi Silver Project in June 2006 by consolidating a total of 72 mineral lots covering a large land package of more than 7,900 hectares and including several producing silver mines. The Company then initiated an integrated exploration program in the northwestern part of the Project consisting of geological mapping, sampling of the open cuts, drilling, dewatering of two shafts and limited bulk sampling.
2006 results
The highlight of the 2006 program was the intersection of 35.4 kg/t Ag over 0.4 meters from La India, and the channel sampling in Santa Edwiges that yielded 2.7kg/t Ag over 3.62 meters.
The geological mapping identified a large alteration system hosted by a thick felsic ignimbrite near a fault contact with a younger andesite. The two major directions of the mineralized structures are ENE and WNW.
A total of 11,700 meters of drilling was completed in the Cusi camp, of which 5,500 meters were drilled at San Miguel and La Bamba and the rest equally split between Santa Edwiges/San Nicolas and La India. The most significant drill results are presented in table 1 below. Dia Bras holds an interest of 50% and an additional 20% in the La Bamba and San Miguel properties from Pershimco (see press release, May 31, 2006). The other 10 inactive mines are 100% owned by Dia Bras.
In addition to the drilling at La Bamba, several rock composite samples were collected from the open pit in preparation for a test bulk sample and returned very encouraging results from oxide material (see press release of December 12, 2006).
Most of the holes drilled at Santa Edwiges stopped in highly fractured zones and could not reach the intended targets. However, the underground mapping and sampling program returned significant results as announced on January 22, 2007. The cleaning and opening of the old workings at Santa Edwiges is being performed to prepare a test bulk sample of sulfide material to be treated at the Company’s newly expanded 850 tpd Malpaso mill.
The 2007 program
The objectives of the 2007 program are two-fold: define sufficient mill feed for the Company’s Malpaso Mill and discover a high-value deposit.
These tasks will be undertaken by continuing the program put in place in June 2006. The program will consist of geological mapping, definition, extension and exploration drilling as well as dewatering, rehabilitation and development of the inactive mines.
The regional scale mapping will be extended to the rest of the property, while local detail mapping and sampling of the mineralized structures and veins will be completed.
T hree surface drill rigs will perform the 25,000 meters of drilling planned for 2007. A total of 11,000 meters will be drilled to test new targets identified by the geological mapping program in 2006 and 2007, including 2,000 meters to further explore La India. The remaining meters will be drilled at San Miguel-La Bamba and in the area of Santa Edwiges- San Antonio- Santa Marina (see map attached). In addition, two underground drills will test the extension of the zones found at Santa Edwiges.

Dia Bras at PDAC
The Company will be exhibiting at the PDAC in Toronto, March 4-7, 2007 in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Dr. Thomas L. Robyn, Executive Chairman, Réjean Gosselin, President, along with other members of the team, will be present at Booth 4031. Dr. Robyn will also deliver a presentation in room 205D, on Monday March 5 at 3:20 p.m.
The regional geological mapping program, under the supervision of Dr. André Ciesielski, has revealed the presence of a number of gold-silver veins and breccias not previously reported in the northwestern and central part of the Cusi property. Dia Bras reported in March (see Press Release #8, March 21) and in September (see Press Release #24, September 13) unusually high gold assays from an area known as the San Nicolas Tiro.
A review of these data prompted Dia Bras to start a detailed mapping program in the area under the supervision of Dr. Ciesielski. The mineralization is hosted in a number of N-S structures, of variable width, the most important of which is the La Minerva system.
This area is characterized by three brecciated structures, known as:
Minerva, quartz stockwork-breccia, limonite-psylomelane breccia, and quartz veins,
N310 fault, unmineralised limonite-kaolinite breccia,
Gloria, silicified breccia and quartz veinlets-stockwork.
The Minerva structure strikes N350 and dips 75o and presents variable widths of 0.5 to 2.0 m. The fractures are filled with quartz, and limonite -- psylomelane breccia (0.5 to 1.5 m), with quartz stockwork-breccia (0.1 to 1 m), and can be observed at the contact with the wall rock. This structure has been followed for over 200 m. A NE-SW regional fracturation is present everywhere in the Minerva area, and influences the breccia, especially in the south.
The southern extremity of the Minerva structure (N-S) intersects or deviates at another major system known as the Gloria structure (NE-SW).
The northern extremity of the Minerva structure (N-S) intersects a N310 fault (NE-SW). At this point, the structure separates into two fracture systems, a quartz stockwork, the Minerva A, some 50 cm wide, oriented at N165 with a 70o dip, with a strike extent of some 120 m long. The Minerva B consists of a major quartz stockwork, with widths varying from 1 to 4 metres, oriented at N190 with a 70o dip, which extends for some 100 metres.
Samples are either channel or representative chip and grab samples from mineralized zones. All samples were taken on surface from the mineralized structures.
Some of the best results include 1.46 g/t Au with 3,490 g/t Ag, 4.6 g/t Au with 1,530 g/t Ag, 2.49 g/t Au with 794 g/t Ag, 5.51 g/t Au with 719 g/t Ag. The high gold and silver contents are accompanied by low contents of Pb, Zn and Cu, which indicates that this vein system is high in the precious metal zone. This is very encouraging with respect to the amount of mineralized rock that could occur in these structures and others like them in the immediate vicinity.
This area has received limited exploration in the past, and has never been drilled.
These results are very encouraging and a drill program planned for the beginning of 2008 is being prepared to follow up on these excellent results.
